Aniceto Arce (or short: Arce) is a province in the southern parts of the Bolivian department Tarija. The province is named after Aniceto Arce Ruiz (1824-1906), President of Bolivia from 1888 until 1892.
Aniceto Arce province is one of six provinces in the Tarija Department. It is located between 21° 45' and 22° 53' south and between 64° 06' and 65° 02' west.
The province borders Cercado Province and José María Avilés Province in the north, the Republic of Argentina in the west and south-east, Gran Chaco Province in the east, and Burnet O'Connor Province in the north-east.
The province extends over 140 km from north to south, and 100 km from east to west.
The main language of the province is Spanish, spoken by 80.7%, and 0.2% Guaraní.
The population increased from 44,713 inhabitants (1992 census) to 52,570 (2001 census), an increase of 17.6%. 42.9% of the population are younger than 15 years old.
55.4% of the population have no access to electricity, 51.4% have no sanitary facilities.
42.1% of the population are employed in agriculture, 0.1% in mining, 10.2% in industry, 47.6% in general services (2001).
87.4% of the population are Catholics, 8.9% are Protestants (1992).

Puerto Suárez is an inland river port and municipality in Santa Cruz Department, Bolivia. It is located 10 km west of the border with Brazil.
Gran Chaco is a province in the eastern parts of the Bolivian department Tarija. The province voted to become an autonomous region on 6 December 2009.
José María Avilés is a province in the western parts of the Bolivian department of Tarija.
Cercado is a province in the central parts of the Bolivian department Tarija.
Burdett O'Connor is a province in the northern part of Tarija Department in Bolivia, named after Francisco Burdett O'Connor, a chronicler of the South American War of Independence and the making of Tarija.
Ayopaya or Independencia is a town in the Cochabamba Department, Bolivia. It is the capital of the Ayopaya Province and Ayopaya Municipality. At the time of census 2001 it had a population of 2,014.
Villamontes or Villa Montes is a town in the Tarija Department in south-eastern Bolivia.
Padcaya is a town in the Tarija Department in southeastern Bolivia.
Entre Ríos is a town in the Bolivian Tarija Department.
San Lorenzo is a town in the Tarija Department in Bolivia.
Uriondo is a town in the Bolivian Tarija Department.
Iscayachi is a sparsely populated town in the Bolivian high valleys, located at the Eustaquio Méndez province Junction, north Tarija, at an elevation of 2,915 meters. The population is reported to be 1,153.
Turco Municipality is the second municipal section of the Sajama Province in the Oruro Department in Bolivia, and was founded on February 15, 1957. Its seat is Turco, situated 154 km west of Oruro at an altitude of 3,860 m. The municipality covers an area of 3,973 km², not taking into account the area of Laca Laca Canton.
Camargo is a small town in the Chuquisaca Department of Bolivia in the South American Andes.
Monteagudo is a small town in South Eastern Bolivia. Its name is dedicated to Bernardo de Monteagudo Cáceres (1789-1825) who took part in the Chuquisaca revolution of 25 May 1809.
Anzaldo is a location in the Cochabamba Department in central Bolivia. It is the seat of the Anzaldo Municipality, the second municipal section of the Esteban Arce Province.
Pocona is a location in the Cochabamba Department in central Bolivia. It is the seat of the Pocona Municipality, the third municipal section of the Carrasco Province. At the time of census 2001 it had a population of 244.
San Ramón is a small town in the Beni Department in Bolivia.
Challapata is the capital of the Eduardo Abaroa Province as well as of the Challapata Municipality in the Oruro Department in Bolivia. It lies at an altitude of 3,738 m above sea level on the edge of the 250-acre (1.0 km2) flood plain of the river on the east bank of the Tacagua Poopó Lake. Challapata is located half way of the road and railway connection from Oruro to Potosí, about 130 kilometers from both cities. Directly southeast of the city rises the Cerro Azanaques, with 5102 m the highest peak in the Azanaques Mountain Range (Cordillera de Azanaques).
Azurduy Municipality is the first municipal section of Azurduy Province in the Chuquisaca Department of Bolivia. Its seat is Villa Azurduy. In 2012 the population was 10,594 persons. The municipality is very poor; in 2010 93% were below the poverty line, and 75% were in extreme poverty. In 2001 there were seven automobiles in the municipality.
