Anna Rust (born 3 May 1995) is an English actress and filmmaker. She began her career as a child actress in the ITV drama Doctor Zhivago (2002) and the film The Brothers Grimm (2005). She has since appeared in the Amazon Prime series Carnival Row (2019), the second season of Legends (2015), and the films Interlude in Prague (2017) and Ophelia (2018).
Anna Rust was born to British parents Will Rust, who works in advertising and branding, and Clare Bryant. [1] She moved around growing up for her parents' work, living and attending international schools in the likes of Berlin, Budapest, and Kyiv; she can speak six languages as a result of her international childhood. [2] [3]
Rust made her television debut as Katya Antipova in the 2002 ITV miniseries adaptation of Doctor Zhivago and her film debut as Sister Grimm in the 2005 fantasy film The Brothers Grimm . [4]
Rust later returned to acting, starring in the short film Bloody Weekend and The Missionary pilot in 2013 and make a guest appearance in an episode of the NBC series Crossing Lines in 2014. In 2015, Rust played Khava Bazaeva in the second season of the TNT series Legends . She starred in the 2017 film Interlude in Prague and 2018 film Ophelia .
In 2020, Rust played Fleury in Carnival Row , the Pix courtesan at Moira's brothel. [5] In a red carpet interview, Rust told the Daily Express about her character: "There's a little bit of stigma around sex work generally and I think a lot of the time people are under the impression that you are only ever forced into it. I don't think there was a lot of choice for [Fleury] because all of the mythical creatures don't have many job opportunities but I don’t think it was something that she was entirely against, which I think is quite cool." Rust made her directorial debut with Satiety, which screened at a number of film festivals and earned her a number of accolades, including Best Actress at the Venice Short Film Festival. [7] She began production on it in March 2020, and resumed when COVID-19 lockdown restrictions were relaxed. [8] She appeared in the 2021 HBO miniseries Scenes from a Marriage .
Rust has lent her voice to video games such as Final Fantasy XIV (voicing Gaia), Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III , Horizon Forbidden West , Cyberpunk 2077 , Star Wars Battlefront 2 , Starfield and Battlefield V. [9]
Rust is an outspoken activist for animal rights, LGBT representation, feminism, and diversity in film. [2] [10] [11] [12] Speaking about the importance of film and TV in making societal change, she said: "I’ve always said that film & TV – and games, for that matter – can change the world through exposure. And I really hope we can … continue to make change through art – be it destigmatize sex work, or dismantle racism, or getting people to be compassionate towards animals."[ citation needed ] She is pansexual. She has spoken about her dream role being Marvel's Black Cat, as well as working in The Elder Scrolls series. [14] [2]

Cyberpunk is a tabletop role-playing game in the dystopian science fiction genre, written by Mike Pondsmith and first published by R. Talsorian Games in 1988. It is typically referred to by its second or fourth edition names, Cyberpunk 2020 and Cyberpunk Red, in order to distinguish it from the cyberpunk genre after which it is named.
Danielle Harris is an American actress. She is known as a "scream queen" for her roles in multiple horror films, including four entries in the Halloween franchise: Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988) and Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989) as Jamie Lloyd, and Halloween (2007) and Halloween II (2009) as Annie Brackett. Darren Lynn Bousman is an American film director and screenwriter, best known for his work in horror films. He has directed four of the Saw films: Saw II, Saw III, Saw IV, and Spiral. He also directed the horror musicals Repo! The Genetic Opera and The Devil's Carnival movies. Bousman is co-creator and writer of alternate reality games (ARG) and immersive experiences, The Tension Experience (2016), The Lust Experience (2017), Theatre Macabre (2018), iConfidant (2020), and One Day Die (2020).
Briana Evigan is an American actress and dancer best known for her roles in the Step Up series and for her scream queen roles in numerous horror films. Born in Los Angeles, Evigan is the daughter of actor Greg Evigan and his wife Pamela, a dancer, model and choreographer. She began dancing and acting at a young age, graduating from Los Angeles Valley College with a degree in speech and communication.

Brittany Allen is a Canadian actress. Her first notable role was as Marissa Chandler on All My Children from 2009 to 2010, for which she received a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in 2011. In later years, she worked consistently on television, and in the films of her partner, Colin Minihan, including the 2014 film Extraterrestrial, the 2016 film It Stains the Sands Red and the 2018 film What Keeps You Alive, the latter of which Allen starred in and scored.

The Devil's Carnival is a 2012 American musical horror film directed by Darren Lynn Bousman and starring Sean Patrick Flanery, Briana Evigan, Jessica Lowndes, Paul Sorvino, Emilie Autumn and Terrance Zdunich. The film marks the second collaboration of Bousman and writer/actor Terrance Zdunich, their previous work being the musical film Repo! The Genetic Opera. The film also brings back several of the cast members of Repo!, such as Sorvino, Alexa Vega, Bill Moseley and Nivek Ogre. The Devil's Carnival has Aesop's Fables and other folklore at the core of its story, with the main characters each representing a fable. Flanery's character John represents "Grief and His Due", Evigan's character Merrywood represents "The Dog and Its Reflection", and Lowndes' character Tamara represents "The Scorpion and the Frog", an animal fable that seems to have first emerged in Russia.
Cyberpunk 2077 is a 2020 action role-playing game developed by the Polish studio CD Projekt Red, and published by CD Projekt, and based on Mike Pondsmith's Cyberpunk tabletop game series. The plot is set in the fictional metropolis of Night City, California, within the dystopian Cyberpunk universe. The player assumes the role of V, a mercenary who accidentally gets imbued with a cybernetic "bio-chip" containing an engram of legendary rockstar and terrorist Johnny Silverhand. As Johnny's behaviour and memories begin overwriting V's own, the two must work together to separate from each other and save V's life.

She is known for starring in television films such as her role playing Elizabeth Berkley in Lifetime's The Unauthorized Saved by the Bell Story; for her recurring roles as Polly Cooper on The CW series Riverdale, as Robin on the ABC television series Once Upon a Time. Skovbye starred as Grace Knight on the Global series Nurses.
Tristan Risk, also known as Little Miss Risk, is a Canadian film actress, known for her roles in horror films such as American Mary, Ayla, and Aliens Ate My Homework. In 2014 Risk penned the script for the short film Happily Ever Evil, in which she also starred, and in February 2016 she made her directorial debut with a short film she created as part of Women in Horror Month. She has since directed Parlour Tricks and Reptile House, which she both wrote.
