Annett Gamm (born 28 May 1977) is a German platform diver. [1] She is a two-time Olympian (2004 and 2008), a multiple-time German diving champion, and a four-time consecutive gold medalist in the women's synchronized platform at the European Aquatics Championships (2002, 2004, 2006, and 2008). Gamm is also a member of the diving team for Dresdner SC, and is coached and trained by Frank Taubert, who competed in the men's springboard and platform events at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, and at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, representing East Germany. At age twenty-seven, Gamm made her official debut for the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, where she competed in two platform diving events. She placed fourteenth in the women's platform by six points ahead of Austria's Anja Richter, posting a total score of 478.20. She also finished in sixth place, along with her partner Nora Subschinski, in the women's synchronized platform, by four points behind the Mexican team (Jashia Luna and Paola Espinosa), with a score of 303.30. In 2007, Gamm reached her breakthrough season in diving, when she and her partner Subschinski earned a bronze medal for the same discipline at the FINA World Championships in Melbourne, Australia, accumulating a score of 306.63 points. [5] [6] At the 2008 European Aquatics Championships in Eindhoven, Netherlands, Gamm captured her fourth consecutive gold medal (the first being done in 2002), along with her partner Subschinski, in the women's synchronized platform, with a total score of 336.63. [7]
Four years after competing in her first Olympics, Gamm qualified for her second German team, as a 31-year-old, at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. She first teamed up with Subschinski in the women's 10 m synchronized platform, but managed to finish fourth in the final by one point ahead of the U.S. team (Mary Beth Dunnichay and Haley Ishimatsu), recording their final score at 310.29. [8] [9] A week later, Gamm placed last out of twenty-nine divers in the preliminary round of the women's platform event, by six points behind Russia's Natalia Goncharova, with a total score of 234.30. Émilie-Joane Heymans is a Canadian diver. She was born in Brussels, Belgium and raised in Greenfield Park, a suburb of Montreal. Heymans has won four Olympic medals, two bronze and two silver. She was the first female diver to win medals in four consecutive Olympic games and the first Canadian to win medals in four consecutive Olympics. Heymans also is a one time world champion and has won four Pan American championships as well as one Commonwealth Games championship. In addition she has won multiple medals in all three of these competitions.
Thomas Robert Daley is an English diver and television personality. He is an Olympic gold medallist in the men's synchronised 10-metre platform event at the 2020 Olympics and double world champion in the FINA 10-metre platform event, winning in 2009 at the age of fifteen, and again in 2017. He is an Olympic bronze medallist in the 2012 platform event, the 2016 synchronised event, and the 2020 platform event, He won the silver medal in the men's synchronised 10-metre at the 2024 Olympics, making him the first British diver to win 5 Olympic medals. Daley also competes in team events, winning the inaugural mixed team World title in 2015, and repeating the win in 2024, his fourth World title in all. He is an Olympic champion, 4-time World Champion, a 2-time junior World Champion, a 5-time European champion and 4-time Commonwealth champion.
David Alasdair Boudia is an American diver. He won the gold medal in the 10 metre platform diving competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the bronze medal in the same event at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He also won a bronze medal with Nick McCrory in the men's synchronized 10 metre platform at the 2012 Summer Olympics and a silver medal in the same event with Steele Johnson at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Chen Ruolin is a Chinese diver. Her most recent competition saw her win the synchronized 10 metre platform diving event with her partner Liu Huixia at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Guo Jingjing is a retired Chinese diver, and multi-time Olympic gold medalist and world champion. Guo is tied with her partner Wu Minxia for winning the most Olympic medals (6) of any female diver and she won the 3m springboard event at five consecutive World Championships. She announced her retirement in 2011.
Dato Pandelela Rinong Pamg, is a Malaysian diver. She has won two Olympic medals and seven World Championships medals.
Nora Subschinski is a German diver. She participates in the 3m springboard and 10m platform competitions.
Ilya Leonidovich Zakharov is a Russian diver and politician. He is the 2012 Olympics gold medalist in 3 metre Springboard.
Eftychia Pappa-Papavasilopoulou is a female Greek-American diver, who specialized in individual and synchronized platform events. At age nineteen, Papavasilopoulou made her official debut for the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, where she placed twenty-seventh in the women's platform event, with a score of 236.79.
Oleg Aleksandrovich Vikulov is a Russian platform diver. He won a gold medal, along with his partner Konstantin Khanbekov, for the men's synchronized platform at the 2008 FINA Diving World Cup series in Tijuana, Mexico, in addition to their silver in Nanjing, China, and a fourth-place finish in Sheffield, England. He also captured two medals in the individual and synchronized platform at the 2007 Summer Universiade in Bangkok, Thailand.
Choe Kum-hui is a North Korean platform diver. She won two bronze medals for the women's synchronized platform at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar, and at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China. Choe also captured three silver medals in the same event at the Summer Universiade.
Anja Richter-Libiseller is an Austrian platform diver. She is a four-time Olympian, and a multiple-time Austrian diving champion in her respective discipline. Richter is also the sister of Jürgen Richter, a springboard diver who competed at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, and the granddaughter of Liesl Perkaus, a multiple-time Austrian track and field champion, and a discus thrower who competed at the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam.
Elina Elisabeth Eggers is a Swedish platform diver. She is a thirteen-time Swedish diving champion, a four-time All-American athlete, and a two-time first-team Pac-10 All-Academic honoree. She also won a bronze medal in the women's platform at the 2008 European Aquatics Championships in Eindhoven, Netherlands, with a score of 319.65, earning her a spot on the Swedish team for the Olympics.

Katrina Young is an American diver. She competed for the United States in the women's 10-meter diving at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and in the 10-meter platform contest at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo.
Zhang Jiaqi is a Chinese diver. She won the gold medals of women's 10m platform and women's 10m synchronised platform in the 2018 FINA Diving World Cup.
Chen Yuxi is a Chinese diver, national champion, and Olympic champion. At the 2020 Summer Olympics, she won the gold medal with partner Zhang Jiaqi in the women's 10m synchronized platform. Chen also won the silver medal in the individual 10-metre platform event. At the 2024 Summer Olympics, Chen, alongside teammate Quan Hongchan, won gold in the women's 10m synchronized platform.
Delaney Schnell is an American diver. In the 10 meter platform, she won a bronze medal at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships. In the 10 meter synchronized platform, she won silver medals at the 2020 Summer Olympics and 2022 World Aquatics Championships as well as a bronze medal at the 2019 Pan American Games. In the 10 meter mixed synchronized platform, she won a bronze medal at the 2022 World Aquatics Championships. She competes collegiately for the University of Arizona.
Quan Hongchan is a Chinese diver, national champion, and Olympic champion. At the 2020 Summer Olympics, she won the gold medal in the individual 10 metre platform event. At the 2024 Summer Olympics, Quan won the gold medal in the individual 10 metre platform event and, alongside teammate Chen Yuxi, also won gold in the 10 metre synchronized platform.
