Anshitha Akbarsha, (born 28 August 1997) also known as Anshida, is an Indian actress who appears in Malayalam and Tamil television. She made her debut with the 2019 Malayalam series Kabani . [3] [4] [5] She is best known for playing the character Soorya Kaimal in the TV series Koodevide . She also participated as a contestant in Bigg Boss 8 in 2024. [6] [7]

Career

Anshitha first made her appearance in television with the Malayalam serial Kabani which aired on Zee Keralam playing the role Rambha. In 2021, Anshitha appeared in the serial Koodevide which aired on Asianet and she played the lead role of Soorya Kaimal. [8] [9] In 2022, she made her debut into Tamil television with the serial Chellamma which aired on Star Vijay where she once again played a lead role and received praise for her performance in the series. [10] In 2024, she participated in the comedy cooking show Cooku with Comali season 5 as a comali. [11]

In October 2024, Anshitha appeared on the reality show Bigg Boss 8 as a contestant which aired on Star Vijay. [12] She was later evicted at 11th position from the show on Day 84. [13] [14]
