Antero Paljakka (born 1 August 1969) is a retired Finnish athlete who specialised in the shot put. [2] He represented his country at the 1992 Summer Olympics and 1993 World Championships.
His personal bests in the event are 19.84 metres outdoors (Töysä 1993) and 18.23 metres indoors (Genoa 1992). [3]

Linford Cicero Christie is a Jamaican-born British former sprinter and athletics coach. He is the only British man to have won gold medals in the 100 metres at all four major competitions open to British athletes: the Olympic Games, the World Championships, the European Championships and the Commonwealth Games. He was the first European athlete to break the 10-second barrier in the 100 m and held the British record in the event for close to 30 years. He is a former world indoor record holder over 200 metres, and a former European record holder in the 60 metres, 100 m and 4 × 100 metres relay.
Fermín Cacho Ruiz is a Spanish track and field athlete, winner of the gold medal in the 1500m at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona and the silver medal in the 1500m at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.
Branko Zorko is a Croatian retired middle distance runner who specialized in the 1500 metres. Zorko competed in the 1500 metres in five Olympic Games, from 1988 to 2004, making it through to the semi-finals in 1992 and 1996. Satoru Inoue born 21 July 1971 in Kishiwada is a retired Japanese athlete who specialised in sprinting events. He represented his country at the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympics as well as four World Championships. His best individual success was reaching the semifinals at the 1993 World Championships in Stuttgart. He became the first Japanese to reach the 100 metres semifinal at the World Championships. He was the former Japanese record holder in the 100 metres and 200 metres, and a two-time Japanese Championships champion in the 100 metres. He played gymnastics before turning to athletics.
Miguel Ángel Gómez Campuzano was a Spanish sprinter who competed primarily in the 200 metres. He represented his country at the 1992 Summer Olympics. In addition he reached the final at the 1991 World Indoor Championships.
