Antonio Brutti (born 2 May 1945) is an Italian long-distance runner. He competed in the marathon at the 1972 Summer Olympics. [1]
David Maurice Robinson is an American former professional basketball player who played for the San Antonio Spurs in the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1989 to 2003, and minority owner of the Spurs. Nicknamed "the Admiral" for his service with the U.S. Navy, Robinson was a 10-time NBA All-Star, the 1995 NBA MVP, a two-time NBA champion, a two-time Olympic Gold Medal winner, a two-time Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, and a two-time U.S. Olympic Hall of Fame inductee. He was honored as one of the league's all-time players by being named to the NBA 50th Anniversary (1996) and 75th Anniversary Teams (2021). He is widely considered one of the greatest centers in both college basketball and NBA history.
Derrick Keith Brew is a 2004 Olympic Gold medalist in the Men's 4x400 meter relay for the United States. Earlier in the games he took third in the US sweep of the 400m.

The Cape Verdean delegation to Sydney consisted of two track and field athletes, Isménia do Frederico and António Zeferino, who were both making their second Olympic appearance. Do Frederico did not advance out of her heat in the women's 100 meters, while Zeferino finished 67th of 81 finishers in the men's marathon.

Bruttiboni, also known as Mandorlati di San Clemente and Brutti ma buoni, is a type of hazelnut or almond-flavoured biscuit made in Prato, Central Italy, and many other cities. The name translates to 'ugly but good'. These cookies are made by incorporating meringue; an egg white and sugar mixture; with roasted chopped nuts. The cookies are crunchy on the outside with a soft texture in the middle. As with many other Italian cookies, their origin is disputed but they have been made since at least the mid-1800s.
