Apachita (Aymara for the place of transit of an important pass in the principal routes of the Andes; name for a stone cairn in the Andes, a little pile of rocks built along the trail in the high mountains, [2] [3] Hispanicized spelling Apacheta) is a 4,556-metre-high (14,948 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It lies in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Jesús de Machaca Municipality, north-east of Ch'ama (Chama). Apachita is situated south-west of the mountain Ch'utu Wankarani and north-east of the mountain Imill Wawani. [1] [4]

The Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range is situated in Bolivia south east of Wiñaymarka Lake, the southern part of Lake Titicaca, in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province. The range is named after one of highest mountains, the Kimsa Chata complex rising up to 4,735 metres (15,535 ft) about 15 km south of Tiwanaku.

Puma Apachita is a mountain in the Tunari mountain range of the Bolivian Andes, about 4,920 m (16,142 ft) high. It is situated in the Cochabamba Department, Quillacollo Province, Quillacollo Municipality, northwest of Cochabamba. Puma Apachita lies southeast of Jatun Q'asa.

Kimsa Chata (Los Andes)

Kimsa Chata is a mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia, about 5,056 metres (16,588 ft) high. It is located in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality, Kirani Canton. It is situated south-west of the mountains Wila Lluxi, Warawarani and Phaq'u Kiwuta, between the mountain Qala T'uxu in the north and the lake Q'ara Quta in the south.

Riti Apachita

Rit'i Apachita is a 5,029-metre-high (16,499 ft) mountain in the Apolobamba mountain range in Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Franz Tamayo Province, Pelechuco Municipality, north-west of Pelechuco. Rit'i Apachita lies northeast of the mountain Sural (Soral) and southeast of the mountain Apachita Pura Pura.

Kimsa Chata (Sajama)

Kimsa Chata is a group of three mountains in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the Oruro Department, Sajama Province, in the north of the Turco Municipality. It is situated north-east of the mountains Yaritani and Wankarani. The northern peak is 4,809 metres (15,778 ft) high. The two other peaks of the groups lie south-east of it.

Imill Wawani

Imill Wawani is a 4,505-metre-high (14,780 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Jesús de Machaca Municipality, north-east of Ch'ama (Chama). Imill Wawani lies south-west of the mountain Apachita and south-east of the mountain Jisk'a Sallalla.

Wiskachani (Ingavi)

Wisk'achani is a 4,585-metre-high (15,043 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Jesús de Machaca Municipality, north-east of Ch'ama (Chama). Wisk'achani lies north of the mountain Imill Wawani, north-east of Jisk'a Sallalla and Sallalla and south-east of Q'ullq'uni. The river Wila Jaqhi Jahuira originates east of the mountain. It flows to the north-east.

Laqaya (La Paz) mountain in Bolivia

Laqaya is a 4,825-metre-high (15,830 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, at the border of the Jesús de Machaca Municipality and the Tiwanaku Municipality.

Chutu Wankarani

Ch'utu Wankarani is a 4,475-metre-high (14,682 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Jesús de Machaca Municipality, northeast of Ch'ama (Chama). Ch'utu Wankarani lies northeast of Imill Wawani and Apachita and southeast of Jisk'a Sallalla and Wisk'achani. The Wila Jaqhi Jawira originates near Ch'utu Wankarani. It flows to the northeast.

Qullquni

Q'ullq'uni is a 4,570-metre-high (14,993 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Jesús de Machaca Municipality, north-east of Ch'ama (Chama). Q'ullq'uni lies north-west of the mountain Wisk'achani, north-east of the mountain Jisk'a Sallalla and east of the mountains Pukara and Wila Qullu.

Chuqi Qawa mountain in Bolivia

Chuqi Q'awa is a 4,790-metre-high (15,715 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It lies in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Jesús de Machaca Municipality. Chuqi Q'awa is situated west of the mountain Pukara.

Chuqi Qawa (Chuñuni Jawira)

Chuqi Q'awa is a 4,570-metre-high (14,993 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It lies in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, in the north of the Jesús de Machaca Municipality, near the border with the Tiwanaku Municipality. Chuqi Q'awa is situated south of the river Chuñuni Jawira (Chununi Jahuira).

Chhuxlla Willki

Chhuxlla Willk'i is a 4,664-metre-high (15,302 ft) mountain in the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It lies in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Jesús de Machaca Municipality. Chhuxlla Willk'i is situated south-east of the 4,737-metre-high (15,541 ft) mountain named Qala Cruz (Khala Cruz) and Ch'alla Qullu, and north-east of a 4,522-metre-high (14,836 ft) mountain which is also called Qala Cruz.

Apachita (Pando)

Apachita is a mountain in the Andes of Bolivia, about 4,800 metres (15,748 ft) high. It is situated in the La Paz Department, José Manuel Pando Province, Catacora Municipality. Apachita lies south of the mountain Wila Qullu, north-west of Ch'iyar Jaqhi and south-east of Laram Q'awa and Chuqiwa Qullu (Chuquivakkollu).

Waxra Apachita

Waxra Apachita is a mountain in the Cordillera Real in the Andes of Bolivia, about 5,200 metres (17,060 ft) high. It is located in the La Paz Department, Los Andes Province, Batallas Municipality. It is situated southwest of the mountain Wila Lluxita, north of the lake Janq'u Quta, northeast of Wila Lluxi and southeast of Janq'u Uyu. The two small lakes southwest of Waxra Apachita are Muruqu Quta (Morokho Kkota) and Ch'uxña Quta

Chuchu Apachita

Ch'uch'u Apachita is a 4,855-metre-high (15,928 ft) mountain in the Andes of Bolivia. It is situated in the La Paz Department, Larecaja Province, Sorata Municipality. Ch'uch'u Apachita lies north of the main range of the Cordillera Real, south to southwest of the mountain Ch'uch'u, northwest of Chunta Qullu and east of Jukumarini. This is where the river Ch'uch'u Jawira originates.

Janqu Apachita mountain in Bolivia

Janq'u Apachita is a 4,570-metre-high (14,990 ft) mountain in the southern part of the Chilla-Kimsa Chata mountain range in the Andes of Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Pacajes Province, Waldo Ballivián Municipality. Janq'u Apachita lies northeast of Wila Qullu.

Wila Apachita mountain in Bolivia

Wila Apachita is a 4,595-metre-high (15,075 ft) mountain in the Bolivian Andes. It is located in the Cochabamba Department, Tapacari Province. Wila Apachita lies southeast of Ñuñu Qullu.
