Aquatics at the 1975 Southeast Asian Peninsular Games included swimming, diving and water polo events. The three sports of aquatics were held in Bangkok, Thailand. Aquatics events were held between 11 December to 14 December.

It is one of several international federations which administer a given sport or discipline for both the IOC and the international community. It is based in Lausanne, Switzerland.

The European Aquatics Championships is the continental Aquatics championship for Europe, which is organised by LEN—the governing body for aquatics in Europe. The Championships are currently held every two years ; and since 2022, they have included 5 aquatics disciplines: Swimming, Diving, Synchronised swimming, Open water swimming and High diving. Prior to 1999, the championships also included Water polo, which beginning in 1999 LEN split-off into a separate championships. The open water events are not held during the Olympic year.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Athens Olympic Aquatic Centre</span>

The Athens Olympic Aquatic Centre is a complex at the Athens Olympic Sports Complex in Marousi, Athens, Greece, consisting of two outdoor pools and one indoor pool, that was built for the 1991 Mediterranean Games. It was refurbished and expanded for the 2004 Summer Olympics and the 2004 Summer Paralympics. The larger of the two outdoor pools, which seats 11,500 spectators, hosted swimming and water polo events. The smaller pool, which hosted synchronized swimming, had the capacity for 5.300 people. The indoor pool also hosted the water polo, diving and the swimming during the Paralympics had capacity for another 6.300 persons.

Aquatics GB is the national governing body of swimming, water polo, artistic swimming, diving and open water in Great Britain. Aquatics GB is a federation of the national governing bodies of England, Scotland, and Wales. These three are collectively known as the Home Country National Governing Bodies.

The World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m), formerly known as the FINA World Swimming Championships (25m), also referred to as 'short course worlds', are an international swimming competition staged by the internationally recognized governing body of the sport, World Aquatics. The championships are staged in a 25m pool, referred to as short course format, and traditionally have been held biennially in alternate years to the World Aquatics Championships. Unlike the World Aquatics Championships, only swimming events are staged at these championships.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">1971 SEAP Games</span> Multi-sport event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The 1971 Southeast Asian Peninsular Games, officially known as the 6th Southeast Asian Peninsular Games, was a Southeast Asian multi-sport event held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 6 to 13 December 1971 with 15 sports featured in the games. In this edition of the games, host country Malaysia joined Singapore in pressuring Thailand to let the SEAP Games Federation expand to include the Philippines and Indonesia, but to no avail. Thai officials felt that such expansion would be contrary to the small family affair they had intended the games to be, and would not be in keeping with the close-neighbours spirit the games was supposed to cultivate. This was the second time Malaysia hosted the games and its first time since 1965. The games was opened and closed by Abdul Halim, the King of Malaysia at the Stadium Merdeka. The final medal tally was led by Thailand, followed by host Malaysia and Singapore.

The FINA World Open Water Swimming Championships, or more commonly "Open Water Worlds", was a bi-annual FINA championship for open water swimming held in even years from 2000 to 2010, inclusive. Race distances were 5, 10, and 25 kilometers.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Piscines Bernat Picornell</span>

Piscines Bernat Picornell is a swimming venue situated in the Olympic Ring in Montjuïc, Barcelona. The venue consists of three swimming pools: a 50m indoor pool, a 50m outdoor pool, and a pool for diving. It hosted the swimming events, synchronized swimming events, the water polo final, and the swimming part of the modern pentathlon event for the 1992 Summer Olympics.

The Olympic Aquatics Stadium was a temporary aquatics center in the Barra Olympic Park in Rio de Janeiro. The venue hosted the swimming events, Synchronized swimming finals and water polo finals at the 2016 Summer Olympics, and the para-swimming events for the 2016 Summer Paralympics.

Stade Nautique d'Antwerp was an aquatics venue located in Antwerp, Belgium. For the 1920 Summer Olympics, it hosted the diving, swimming, and water polo.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">2023 World Aquatics Championships</span> 20th World Aquatics Championships

The 2023 World Aquatics Championships, the 20th edition of the World Aquatics Championships, were held in Fukuoka, Japan, from 14 to 30 July 2023. Originally scheduled to be held in 2021 as the 19th championships, the championships were postponed until May 2022 in response to the rescheduling of the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The event was pushed back a second time to 2023 due to ongoing travel restrictions and safety measures in place in Japan. In its place, Budapest hosted the 19th Championships from 18 June to 3 July 2022, while the originally scheduled 2023 championships in Doha, Qatar, were moved to 2024.

The water polo events at the 2007 World Aquatics Championships were held from 19 March to 1 April 2007, in Melbourne, Australia.

Aquatics at the 1973 Southeast Asian Peninsular Games included swimming, diving and water polo events. The three sports of aquatics were held at Toa Payoh Aquatic Sport Center in Singapore. Aquatics events was held between 2 September to 5 September.

Matthew Wilson is an Australian swimmer. He competed in the men's 50 metre breaststroke and 200 metre breaststroke events at the 2017 World Aquatics Championships and at the 100 & 200 metre breastroke at the 2019 World Aquatic Championships, winning a silver medal in the 200 m breaststroke, as well as medley relay medals on both occasions. Wilson also competed in 100 & 200 metre breastroke at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and formerly held the world record in the 200 metre breaststroke.

Martin Vladimirovich Malyutin is a Russian swimmer. He has won medals at the European and World Championships.

High diving at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships was held between 22 and 24 July 2019.

Lauren Hew is a swimmer from the Cayman Islands.

The 15th FINA World Swimming Championships were held from 16 to 21 December 2021 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It was previously scheduled for 13 to 18 December but moved back three days on 24 February 2021. Originally scheduled to be held in 2020, the championships were pushed back one year as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Competition took place in a 25-metre temporary pool installed at Etihad Arena.

Leonardo Deplano is an Italian swimmer. He competed in the 2021 FINA World Swimming Championships, winning gold in the men's 4 × 50 metre freestyle relay event.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Diving at the 2022 Commonwealth Games</span>

Diving is one of the sports contested at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, to be held in Birmingham, England. The sport has been staged in all twenty-one previous editions of the Games thus far, and will be contested in England for the third time.
