Consisting of primary vocalist Neil Tennant and keyboardist Chris Lowe, they have sold more than 100 million records worldwide and were listed as the most successful duo in UK music history in the 1999 edition of The Guinness Book of Records.

Marc Kinchen, known by his initials MK, is an American DJ, record producer and remixer. He hit number-one on the US Billboard Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in 1993 and 1994 with the songs "Always" and "Love Changes". Lead vocals on both of those tracks were performed by Alana Simon. The combo also recorded the underground house music classic anthem "Burning". "Always" peaked at number 69 on the UK Singles Chart in February 1995. MK also hit the dance chart with "4 You", using the pseudonym 4th Measure Men.
"Right in the Night (Fall in Love with Music)" is a song by German electronic music duo Jam & Spoon, released by JAM! and Dance Pool as the second single from the duo's second album, Tripomatic Fairytales 2001 (1993). It is a Eurodance song with elements from progressive and vocal trance. It is based on "Leyenda" by the classical composer Isaac Albéniz and features vocals by American vocalist Plavka, with lyrics by Nosie Katzmann. The flamenco-styled riff in the song is played by duo member Jam El Mar, who was trained as a classical guitarist.
"Opportunities (Let's Make Lots of Money)" is a song by English synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys from their debut studio album, Please (1986). It was released as a single in 1985 and re-recorded and reissued in 1986, gaining greater popularity in both the United Kingdom and United States with its second release, reaching number 11 on the UK Singles Chart and number 10 on the US Billboard Hot 100. After the song was featured in a Super Bowl ad in February 2021, it re-entered the charts, claiming the number one spot on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales.
"Life Is Sweet" is a song by the English big beat duo the Chemical Brothers, released in August 1995 by Virgin as the second and final single from their first album, Exit Planet Dust (1995). It features Tim Burgess from English rock band the Charlatans on vocals. "Life Is Sweet" reached number 25 on the UK Singles Chart.
"Teardrops" is a song by American husband-and-wife duo Womack & Womack, released on 5 August 1988 by Island Records as the first single from their fourth studio album, Conscience (1988). The song was written by Cecil Womack and Linda Womack, while production was helmed by Chris Blackwell. Although the song was not a hit in their native United States, it charted highly in the United Kingdom and several European countries, as well as Australia and New Zealand.
"Be Alone No More" is the debut single by British R&B vocal quartet Another Level, released on 16 February 1998 by Northwestside Records. It is from their eponymous debut album (1998), and features American rapper Jay-Z. The song was written by Steven Dubin, Andrea Martin and Ivan Matias. In 1999, it was released a second time in remix form together with a cover of the Simply Red song "Holding Back the Years". The two releases peaked at number six and number eleven in the UK respectively. Several UK garage remixes were also released, such as the 'Dubmonsters Mix' and 'Another Groove Mix'. The latter is a mashup with Double 99's "RipGroove".
Robert Clivillés and David Cole (1962–1995), known collectively as Clivillés and Cole, were American record producers, songwriters, and remixers active from the late 1980s who achieved success in the 1990s.
"Tell Me It's Real" is a song recorded by American R&B duo K-Ci & JoJo. The track was produced for K-Ci and JoJo's second studio album, It's Real (1999). The song spent 20 weeks on the Hot 100, peaking at number two behind Christina Aguilera's "Genie in a Bottle". In the UK, the song initially charted at number 40, but a re-release the following year containing UK garage mixes charted 24 places higher at number 16.
AlunaGeorge are an English electronic music duo from London, consisting of singer-songwriter Aluna Francis and producer George Reid. Since 2020, the duo has been on indefinite hiatus, allowing both members to pursue solo projects.
Gorgon City are an English electronic music production duo consisting of two North London producers Kye "Foamo" Gibbon and Matt "RackNRuin" Robson-Scott. Their 2014 singles "Ready for Your Love" and "Here for You" reached the top 10 in the UK. They are currently signed to the UK-based record label Positiva Records which is a division of Universal Music Group.
"You & Me" is a song by British electronic music duo Disclosure, featuring vocals from Eliza Doolittle. It was released as a digital download in the United Kingdom on 28 April 2013. The track is the third single from the duo's debut studio album, Settle (2013). The song was written by Howard Lawrence, Guy Lawrence, James Napier, and Eliza Caird, and was produced by Disclosure. It has gained popularity through the Flume and Rivo remix.
"Body Groove" is the debut single of UK garage group Architechs, featuring vocals from Nana. Released on 25 September 2000, the song was a success, peaking at number three on the UK Singles Chart and becoming a moderate hit in Belgium, Iceland, and the Netherlands.
"Gunman" is the debut single by English speed garage duo 187 Lockdown. The song was released twice, first in November 1997 where it reached No. 16 on the UK Singles Chart and No. 1 on the UK Dance Chart, then again the following year, peaking one place lower at No. 17.
UK garage, abbreviated as UKG, is a genre of electronic dance music which originated in England in the early to mid-1990s. The genre was most clearly inspired by garage house and jungle production methods, but also incorporates elements from dance-pop and R&B. It is defined by percussive, shuffled rhythms with syncopated hi-hats, cymbals, and snares, and may include either 4/4 house kick patterns or more irregular "2-step" rhythms. Garage tracks also commonly feature 'chopped up' and time-stretched or pitch-shifted vocal samples complementing the underlying rhythmic structure at a tempo usually around 130 BPM.
Double 99, also known as R.I.P. Productions and 10° Below, were a UK garage duo which consisted of members Timothy Andrew Liken and Omar Adimora. They are best known for their sole UK chart hit single "RipGroove", which reached No. 14 in its second release on the UK Singles Chart in 1997.
"RipGroove" is the debut single by English speed garage duo Double 99. A huge underground UK club hit in 1997 when first released on an EP under their alias R.I.P. Productions, the song was officially released as a single twice, first in May 1997 where it reached No. 31 on the UK Singles Chart, then again in October in a new mix featuring vocals by MC Top Cat, peaking seventeen places higher at No. 14. The song appeared on their sole album, 7th High, released in 2001.
Kevin Warren Williams, known as K-Warren, is a UK garage producer. He is a former member of the group Architechs, known for their UK garage remix of Brandy and Monica's "The Boy Is Mine" (1998). K-Warren's best-known releases are "Coming Home", Richie Dan's "Call It Fate" and his mix of Ed Case's "Something in Your Eyes". All three songs were top 40 hits on the UK Singles Chart, peaking at numbers 32, 34 and 38 respectively, with "Coming Home" also reaching number one on the UK Dance Singles Chart.
