Around the House is a 1998 studio album by British electronic musician Herbert. It is an electroacoustic album using "samples of washing machines, toasters and toothbrushes, processed into swinging grooves". [1]

John Bush of AllMusic deemed Around the House "much more suited to straight-ahead dance music than Herbert's previous work" and stated that Herbert "proves quite adept" at creating backing music for the album's featured vocalist Dani Siciliano. [2] Pitchfork reviewer Mark Richardson described Around the House as "a bit more focused on sound than song" compared to its 2001 follow-up Bodily Functions ; while finding Bodily Functions a stronger album, he admitted that "this could well be a matter of which record I heard first" and concluded, "Both albums are loaded with music of exceptionally high quality." Around the House was named the 96th greatest album of the 1990s by Pitchfork. [6]

David Jon Gilmour is an English guitarist, singer, songwriter, and member of the rock band Pink Floyd. He joined as guitarist and co-lead vocalist in 1967, shortly before the departure of founding member Syd Barrett. Pink Floyd achieved international success with the concept albums The Dark Side of the Moon (1973), Wish You Were Here (1975), Animals (1977), The Wall (1979), and The Final Cut (1983). By the early 1980s, they had become one of the highest-selling and most acclaimed acts in music history; by 2012, they had sold more than 250 million records worldwide, including 75 million in the United States. Following the departure of Roger Waters in 1985, Pink Floyd continued under Gilmour's leadership and released three more studio albums.

There's Nothing Wrong with Love is the second full-length album released by American indie rock band Built to Spill. There's Nothing Wrong with Love was recorded in May and June 1994, and released September 13, 1994, on the Up Records label. It was produced by Phil Ek. The songs "Car" and "Distopian Dream Girl" were released as singles. The video for "In the Morning" was featured on Beavis and Butt-head. Pitchfork ranked There's Nothing Wrong with Love No. 24 on its Top 100 Albums of the 90s list. An unlisted final track is a satirical preview of the next Built to Spill album; none of the clips on the track are real Built to Spill songs. Sub Pop reissued the album on vinyl in 2015. This is the only album to feature drummer Andy Capps and the first to feature bassist Brett Nelson.

The album consists of covers of ten George and Ira Gershwin songs, bookended by passages from Rhapsody in Blue, along with two new songs completed from unfinished Gershwin fragments by Wilson and band member Scott Bennett.

The album was released by !K7 records in 2004 and was recorded and produced by Siciliano in her home-studio with additional production from her husband Matt Herbert. It contains a cover of the Nirvana song "Come as You Are". It debuted at number 28 on CMJs airplay chart.

As of 2021, the only principal members included in the Beach Boys' touring band are co-founder Mike Love and 1965 addition Bruce Johnston.
