Branko Grünbaum was a Croatian-born mathematician of Jewish descent and a professor emeritus at the University of Washington in Seattle. He received his Ph.D. in 1957 from Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel.

Although originally it published articles in French and German, it now allows only English language articles. The editor-in-chief is Douglas West.

She was also a member of the borough assembly of Fairbanks North Star Borough, Alaska from 2018-2021.
