The Indian Foreign Service (IFS) is the diplomatic service and a central civil service of the Government of India under the Ministry of External Affairs. The Foreign Secretary is the head of the service. Vinay Mohan Kwatra is the 34th and the current Foreign Secretary.
Shivshankar Menon is an Indian diplomat,who served as National Security Adviser of India under Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh. He had previously served as the Foreign Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs. Prior to that he was Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan,and Sri Lanka and ambassador to China and Israel. He is currently Visiting Professor of International Relations at Ashoka University.
Shamma Jain is an Indian senior diplomat who served as the Indian ambassador to Greece from June 2017 up to October 2019. She has also served as the ambassador of India to Panama,Costa Rica,Nicaragua,Ivory Coast,Liberia,Sierra Leone and Guinea from 2008 to 2011. Aside from serving as an ambassador,Jain has worked in other diplomatic positions,including as the Deputy Chief of Mission in Rome,political counsellor in the United States,and at the permanent delegation of India to UNESCO in Paris.
Nirupama Menon Rao is a retired civil servant of 1973 batch Indian Foreign Service cadre who served as India's Foreign Secretary from 2009 to 2011,as well as being India's Ambassador to the United States,China and Sri Lanka during her career.
Rakesh Sood is a former Indian diplomat of the Indian Foreign Service cadre,columnist,and writer. His poem 'The Partitioned Land' was taught at the Cornell University in the Fall 2021. His book-length poem 'Monsoon' has been chosen by Harvard University's assistant professor Sarah Dimick to study for a book project on Climate and Literature. His writings cover poetry,art,memoir,global democracy and digital diplomacy. His Earth Anthem has been translated into over 150 languages and was played at the United Nations to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Earth Day. He also wrote an anthem for SAARC spurring search for an official SAARC Anthem. He wrote a 'Moon Anthem' to celebrate the success of India's Moon Mission Chandrayaan-2. He has penned a 'Mars Anthem' to inspire the younger generation to explore our neighbouring red planet. He has penned anthems on all the planets in the Solar System.

Navdeep Suri is a retired Indian diplomat completing distinguished 36 years in the Indian Foreign Service,having served in India's diplomatic missions in Cairo,Damascus,Washington,Dar es Salaam and London and as India's Consul General in Johannesburg. He has also headed the West Africa and Public Diplomacy departments at the Ministry of External Affairs. He was India's High Commissioner to Australia and Ambassador to Egypt and UAE. In a rare gesture,the President of UAE conferred on him the Order of Zayed II,the country's second-highest civilian award. His innovative use of social media in public diplomacy in 2010 also received extensive recognition and two prestigious awards. Navdeep has learnt Arabic and French,has a master's degree in Economics and has written on India's Africa policy,on Public Diplomacy and on the IT outsourcing industry. His English translations of his grandfather Nanak Singh's classic Punjabi novels have been published by Penguin as ‘The Watchmaker’and by HarperCollins as ‘A Life Incomplete’and ‘Khooni Vaisakhi’. Navdeep is accompanied by his wife Mani who has a degree in Economics and is now an accomplished graphic designer and potter. They have two daughters,a journalist and an avid environmentalist.

India–Liechtenstein relations refers to the international relations that exist between India and Liechtenstein. The Embassy of India in Bern,Switzerland is concurrently accredited to Liechtenstein. Liechtenstein maintains an honorary consul general in New Delhi. Under a 1919 agreement between Liechtenstein and Switzerland,ambassadors and diplomatic missions of Switzerland are authorised to represent Liechtenstein in countries and in diplomatic situations unless Liechtenstein opts to send its own ambassador. Switzerland maintains an embassy in New Delhi and a consulate in Mumbai.
