Ashraf El-Kordy (born 15 January 1967) is an Egyptian basketball player. He competed in the men's tournament at the 1988 Summer Olympics. [1]

Oscar Alberto Furlong was an Argentine basketball player, and tennis player and coach. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As a basketball player, he was a FIBA World Cup champion in 1950, who also competed at the 1948 Summer Olympic Games, and at the 1952 Summer Olympic Games. Furlong was inducted into the FIBA Hall of Fame in September 2007.
Álvaro Salvadores Salvi was a Chilean-Spaniard basketball player who competed at the 1950 FIBA World Championship in the Spain national team, and at the 1952 Summer Olympics, in the Chile. Salvadores was also Chile's ambassador to Colombia, from 1986 to 1988. One of his younger brothers, Luis Salvadores, was a basketball player.
Abdel Moneim Wahby was an Egyptian basketball player who played for Al Ahly, referee and administrator. He has played for the Egypt national basketball team in the 1936 Olympics. As a referee, he worked at the 1948 Olympics and 1952 Olympics. He served as the president of the Egyptian Basketball Federation (1952-1969), president of AFABA (1961-1969), Vice President of the FIBA (1961-1968), President of the FIBA (1968-1976) and President of the Egyptian Olympic Committee (1972-1974). He was enshrined as a contributor in the FIBA Hall of Fame in 2007.
Marta Fernández Farrés is a retired Spanish women's basketball player. A 1.80 m (5'11") guard, she won three bronze medals with the Spain women's national basketball team. At club level, she played in 2007 with the Los Angeles Sparks of the United States' WNBA., the Polish team Wisła Can-Pack Kraków and the Spanish teams Universitari Barcelona, Ros Casares Valencia and Perfumerías Avenida, where she retired in 2015. Marta Fernández is the sister of Spanish international and Real Madrid shooting guard Rudy Fernández.
