Astaena rugithorax is a species of beetle of the family Scarabaeidae. [1] It is found in Colombia. [2] [3]
Adults reach a length of about 14 mm. The head is blackish-brown with setae. The surface of the pronotum and elytra is without setae and both are unicolored blackish-brown. [3]
