Astaena rugithorax is a species of beetle of the family Scarabaeidae.^[1] It is found in Colombia.^[2]^[3]

Description

Adults reach a length of about 14 mm. The head is blackish-brown with setae. The surface of the pronotum and elytra is without setae and both are unicolored blackish-brown.^[3]
