<i>Bhookailas</i> (1958 film) 1958 film by K. Shankar

Bhookailas is a 1958 Indian Telugu-language Hindu mythological film, produced by A. V. Meiyappan under the AVM Productions banner and directed by K. Shankar. It stars N. T. Rama Rao, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Jamuna and music composed by R. Sudarsanam & R. Govardhanam. The story is based on the Sthala Purana of Gokarna Kshetram in Karnataka. The film was released in Tamil as Bhaktha Ravana. Previously, a film was made with the same story casting different artists in Tamil in 1938 and in Telugu in 1940 with the same title which were adaptation of the famous Kannada stage play Bhookailasa by Sri Sahitya Samrajya Nataka Mandali of Mysore. A. V. Meiyappan also shot the movie simultaneously in Kannada as Bhookailasa starring Rajkumar.

The Atma Upanishad, is one of the minor Upanishadic texts of Hinduism, written in Sanskrit language. It is one of the 31 Upanishads, associated with the Atharvaveda. It is classified as a Samanya (general) and Vedantic Upanishad.

Durga Deulkar is an Indian educationist and writer. She is a former director of Lady Irwin College, Delhi (1961-1978). She has written articles and has published books such as A guide to household textiles and laundry work, Household textiles and laundry work and An approach to teaching in the basic schools of India, with special reference to home economics. A recipient of a doctoral degree (PhD) from the Cornell University, USA, Deulkar received the fourth highest Indian civilian award of Padma Shri by the Government of India in 1976.

Dr. Atmaram was an Indian scientist. In his memory, the Atmaram Award is given by the Central Institute of Hindi, an autonomous institute run by the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India. He was the Director of Central Glass and Ceramic Research Institute and assumed the post of Director General of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research on 21 August 1966. He was also Principal Advisor to Prime Minister and Union Cabinet on Science and Technology from 1977 to 1983.
