Sir Isaac Vivian Alexander Richards is an Antiguan retired cricketer who represented the West Indies cricket team between 1974 and 1991. Batting generally at number three in a dominant West Indies side, Richards is widely regarded as one of the greatest batsmen of all time. Richards helped win his team the 1979 Cricket World Cup.

Yelmer Evert Frans Buurman is a Dutch professional racing driver. He was 3rd in the Blancpain Endurance Series in 2013, and second in the FIA GT1 Championship in 2012. Besides achieving victories in those categories, also won several races in the Superleague Formula, and was second in the 2013 24 Hours of Nürburgring.

The 2008 Nürburgring Superleague Formula round was the second round of the inaugural Superleague Formula championship, with the races taking place on September 21, 2008. Eighteen football teams were represented on the grid, one more than at the opening round at Donington Park, with the introduction of the car representing Atlético Madrid driven by Andy Soucek. Other driver changes saw debuts for James Walker and Antônio Pizzonia. The meeting saw wins for A.C. Milan and PSV Eindhoven, while Beijing Guoan extended their championship lead to 24 points.

The meeting saw a first win for Liverpool F.C. and a second win for championship leaders Beijing Guoan. However, the championship lead for the Chinese side was cut to 14 points.

Having broken a bone in his right hand in practice, Paul Meijer was replaced by Dominick Muermans in the Al Ain car – becoming their fourth driver in five races. The meeting saw a third win for championship leaders Beijing Guoan and a first win for F.C. Porto. Beijing also extended their championship lead to an almost unassailable 59 points.

Milan shared the two race wins, with Liverpool also being the Weekend Winner after winning the six-car Super Final. The supporting events were the Euroseries 3000 and the Mitjet Series.

In the 2008 edition at the Nürburgring, ex Formula One driver Robert Doornbos took his first Superleague Formula win, also taking A.C. Milan's first race victory. The 2007 Macau Grand Prix was a Formula Three (F3) motor race held on the streets of Macau on 18 November 2007. Unlike other races, such as the Masters of Formula 3, the 2007 Macau Grand Prix was not part of any F3 championship, but was open to entries from all F3 championships. The race itself consisted of two races: a ten-lap qualifying race that determined the starting grid for the fifteen-lap main race. The 2007 race was the 54th Macau Grand Prix and the 25th for F3 cars.
The 2015 World Draughts Championship at the international draughts was held November 8–24, 2015 at Emmen, Netherlands International Draughts Federation FMJD. Twenty players were competing in the tournament. It was played as a round-robin, with 19 rounds in total, each of which be micro-match from two games. The winning prize for the tournament was 25,000 euros.
The 2017 World Draughts Championship at the international draughts held in Tallinn, Estonia. 79 players, who qualified through the championships of Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America competed in the tournament, which ran from October 1, 2017, to October 16, 2017. Among them was women's grandmaster Matrena Nogovitsyna from Russia. Three round played in hotel Europe, other in Paul Keres Chess House. The winning prize for the tournament is 30,000 euros. The tournament will be supervised by main referee Andriy Shcherbatyuk (Ukraine). At the same time the 2017 Women's World Draughts Championship was held.
The 2019 World Draughts Championship at the international draughts was held from September 15 to October 3, 2019, in Yamoussoukro, Ivory Coast under the auspices International Draughts Federation FMJD. Twenty players competed in the tournament, which play as a round-robin. The winning prize for the tournament was 20,000 euros.
