Atul Verma (born 20 June 1997 [1] ) is an Indian archer . He won the bronze medal in Men's Recurve Archery at 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China beating Mete Gazoz of Turkey 6-4 . [2]
He secured his place compete in Tokyo Olympics in the November qualifiers. [3] Atul was included in the Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS) list for the 2020 Olympics. [4]

In the 2023 World Archery Championships held in Berlin, Mete Gazoz emerged victorious, claiming the prestigious Individual title. In an intense final, he triumphed over the skilled Canadian archer Eric Peters, securing his place as the first Turkish archer to achieve the esteemed recurve gold medal in a World Championship.
