Aurora High School is a public high school located in Aurora, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Aurora City School District. Athletic teams are known as the Greenmen and they compete in the Suburban League as a member of the Ohio High School Athletic Association.
Opened in 1925 Aurora High School serves students grades 9-12
In 1950, Streetsboro had lost their high school, and for two years sent their students under tuition grants to neighboring high schools, with this increase of students and teachers, Aurora began plans of a new building and in 1965, Aurora opened its current campus of W. Pioneer Trail. [3]
In 2007, Aurora was recognized as a Blue Ribbon School by the National Blue Ribbon Schools Program with 257 other high schools. [4]
