Charles Allen Austin is an American former athlete who won the gold medal in the men's high jump at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. He was inducted into the United States Track & Field Hall of Fame in 2012. Currently, Charles and Javier Sotomayor are the only two high jumpers that have won gold medals in the Olympics, Outdoor World Championships, Indoor World Championships and World Cup Championships. Hennadiy Avdyeyenko, who won the inaugural 1983 Outdoor World Championship setting the championship high jump record with a jump of 2.32m, and Charles are the only two high jumpers to win and establish the championship record in both the Outdoor World Championship and Olympic Games. He currently holds or previously held the high jump record at the three biggest outdoor track and field competitions.
Richard John Carey is an American former competition swimmer, three-time Olympic champion, and former world record-holder in three events. Carey specialized in the backstroke. At the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, he won three gold medals. He broke nine world records, five individually, and also was a double world champion. He was named as the Swimmer of the Year in 1983 by Swimming World magazine.

Dersch was a two-time gold medalist at the 1991 Pan American Games.

Michael MacKay Austin is a retired American swimmer. He represented the United States at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, and won a gold medal in the 4 × 100 m freestyle relay with teammates Steve Clark, Gary Ilman and Don Schollander, setting a new world record of 3:33.2. Individually, he placed sixth in the 100 m freestyle with a time of 54.5 seconds.
Megan Adelle Kleine, later known by her married name Megan Morris, is an American former competition swimmer and Olympic gold medalist. At the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, she earned a gold medal by swimming for the winning U.S. team in the preliminary heats of the women's 4×100-meter medley relay. Individually, she also competed in the B Final of the women's 100-meter breaststroke event, and finished with the twelfth-best time overall (1:11.07) at the 1992 Olympics.

Sterkel won four medals in three Olympic Games spanning twelve years from 1976 through 1988. She was the women's head coach of the Texas Longhorns swimming and diving team at the University of Texas at Austin from 1993 to 2006.

Kirk Alexander Stackle is an American former competition swimmer who participated in the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. Stackle competed in the preliminary heats of the men's 200-meter breaststroke, finishing with the nineteenth-best time overall (2:19.47). His wife, Alecha Stackle, played tennis at the University of Texas at Austin. Their daughter, Avery Stackle, swam for the University of Denver and now is in the legal psychology PhD program at FIU.
