Auzolan (neighborhood labor in Basque) was a political coalition in the Southern Basque Country, created on 26 March 1983. It was a coalition between the Liga Komunista Iraultzailea (LKI), Langile Abertzale Iraultzaileen Alderdia (LAIA, one of the parties that founded Herri Batasuna) and Nueva Izquierda (a split Euskadiko Ezkerra [1] ), and had the support of the Communist Movement of Euskadi (EMK). The spokesperson of Auzolan was Bixente Serrano Izko.
In March 1983 Auzolan was presented, with the intention of presenting candidates in the municipal elections of that year in some municipalities of Navarre, as well as in the elections to the Parliament of Navarre. In these elections Auzolan obtained 8,356 votes (3.46% of the total), but no seats, although the coalition exceeded by two thousand votes their rivals of Euskadiko Ezkerra.
In the elections to the Basque Parliament the following year Auzolan presented a list headed by Iñaki Pérez Beotegi, Wilson. Auzolan obtained 10,462 votes (0.98%) and no seats.
On May 30, 1986 Auzolan self-dissolved, but the Navarran branch continued to exist, as Batzarre.
Batasuna was a Basque nationalist political party. Based mainly in Spain, it was banned in 2003, after a court ruling declared proven that the party was financing ETA with public money.

Communist Movement of Euskadi was originally the branch of the Communist Movement (MC) in Basque Country and Navarre, Spain. EMK was previously known as ETA Berri, a splinter group of ETA. EMK separated itself from MC in 1983. In 1991 EMK merged with LKI and formed Zutik in Basque Country. In Navarre EMK took part in forming Batzarre. Some of its most prominent leaders were Patxi Iturrioz, Eugenio del Río, Rosa Olivares Txertudi, Milagros Rubio, Jesús Urra Bidaurre and the brothers Javier and Ignacio Álvarez Dorronsoro.

Batzarre is a political party in Navarre, Spain. It has a branch in the Basque Autonomous Community known as Zutik. It bids to win the political space to the left of the Basque nationalists and the Spanish socialists, the latter eroded for their long-running collusion with the conservative UPN government. It formed on 29 January 2011 the coalition Izquierda-Ezkerra along with Izquierda Unida de Navarra (IUN) and local Socialist figures disillusioned with the party's regional alliances.

Izquierda-Ezkerra was an electoral alliance in Navarre formed by United Left of Navarre (IUN) and Batzarre. It was established in January 2011 after Batzarre split from the Nafarroa Bai coalition. Batzarre accepted IUN's call to form a coalition along with Socialist local figures—the Plataforma Navarra por el Cambio—disgruntled with the Socialist Party's social policies and standing support to the conservative anti-Basque Unión del Pueblo Navarro (UPN). The Los Verdes-Grupo Verde ecologists joined them too.

The coalition gained 7 seats in the Parliament of Navarre.
Unai Hualde Iglesias is a Navarrese politician from the Basque National Party and a leading member of the coalition Geroa Bai. He is the president of the Basque National Party in Navarre, as well as a Member of the Parliament of Navarre since 2015. He served as the First Vice-president of the Parliament of Navarre from 2015 to 2019, during its 9th term. In 2019 he was elected as the President of the Parliament of Navarre for its 10th term. He was re-elected in 2023.
