The lake offers various activities such as sailing, canoeing, boat riding or fishing. It also has a jogging path, playground and food stalls. [1] [2]

Lebuh Ayer Keroh

Lebuh Ayer Keroh, Federal Route 143, also known as Lebuhraya Ayer Keroh or Ayer Keroh Highway, is the main dual-carriageway highway that connects Malacca City of Malacca, Malaysia to the North–South Expressway via Ayer Keroh Interchange. Ayer Keroh, the main satellite town of Malacca City is located along the road. Lebuh Ayer Keroh used to be Melaka State Route M31 before being recommissioned by Malaysian Public Works Department (Jabatan Kerja Raya ). Before 1993, most of the road was a two-lane road before it was upgraded to a dual-carriageway in 1993 and in 1997.

Hang Tuah Jaya is a planned area in Malacca, Malaysia created by the state government as the state's administrative centre and smart city on 25 June 2006. It consists of parts of Melaka Tengah, Alor Gajah and Jasin districts and covers an area of 144.60648 square kilometres. The area became a municipality on 1 January 2010 and governed by the Hang Tuah Jaya Municipal Council, which is headquartered at Melaka Mall in Ayer Keroh, opposite the headquarters of the Malacca City Council along Lebuh Ayer Keroh.

Malacca Zoo, officially the Malacca Zoo and Night Safari, is a 54-acre (22 ha) zoological park located beside Lebuh Ayer Keroh in Ayer Keroh, Malacca, Malaysia, which hosts more than 1200 animals including 215 species of birds, amphibians, reptiles, mammals. It is the second-largest zoo in Malaysia behind the National Zoo of Malaysia, both were established in 1963. The zoo acts as both a rescue base and an animal sanctuary and was initially owned by the Malacca State Government, but its management was taken over by the Department of Wildlife and National Parks of Malaysia in 1979 and later opened to the public by the then Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohammad on 13 August 1987.

Malacca Botanical Garden is a botanical garden located in Ayer Keroh, Malacca, Malaysia. It was established in April 1984 as Ayer Keroh Recreational Forest, and got its present name on 1 June 2006. Recreational facilities here include the Malacca Forestry Museum, Malaysia Book Village, Prehistoric Garden, the Storyland, children's playgrounds, the Orang Asli Park, Deer Park, suspension bridge, watch towers and beautiful picnic spots. It spans over 359 hectares and as much as 10 hectares is used for a camping spot.

Khoo Poay Tiong is a Malaysian politician who has served as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Kota Melaka since May 2018. He served as State Leader of the Opposition of Melaka from July 2013 to May 2018 and Member of the Melaka State Legislative Assembly (MLA) for Ayer Keroh from March 2008 to May 2018. He is a member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), a component party of Pakatan Harapan (PH) opposition coalition. He has served as the Assistant National Organising Secretary of DAP since November 2017.
