Azz Izz is the only album from R&B group, MoKenStef, released by Def Jam on July 4, 1995. Their biggest hit was "He's Mine", which peaked at number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100. Their second single, "Sex in the Rain", generated much less success, reaching number 63 on the R&B chart. [2]

AllMusic's Stephen Thomas Erlewine commended the trio's vocal performance but felt they lacked charisma, personality and content to make them come across more than a poor imitation of TLC's CrazySexyCool , concluding that "too much of Azz Izz is comprised of mediocre material." [3] Vibe contributor Kara Manning also felt the group failed to deliver the "vocal ingenuity" to match that album, concluding that "[W]hile Mokenstef fall short of a fresher, sassier sensuality, Azz Izz isn't a bad first outing, just an uninspired one." Ten is the ninth studio album by American heavy metal band Y&T, released in 1990 by Geffen Records. It was recorded in 1989 and is the last Y&T album released before the band took an 18-month hiatus in 1991. Joey Alves had left the band in 1989 and was replaced on rhythm guitar by Stef Burns, while Steve Smith recorded the majority of the drum tracks in place of Jimmy DeGrasso.

"I Want You" is a song written by Leon Ware and Arthur "T-Boy" Ross and performed by American singer and songwriter Marvin Gaye. Anytime is the third studio album by American singer Brian McKnight. It was released by Mercury Records on September 23, 1997, in the United States. "He Is" is a song recorded by American singer Brandy for her third studio album Full Moon (2002). It was written by Warryn Campbell, Harold Lilly and Brandy, with production handled by Campbell and the latter. Conceived during spiritual discussions with the singer, Campbell and Lilly conceptualized the pop and R&B-influenced ballad secretly as a gospel song, as they were keen to hear her sing a religious track, a genre which Brandy declined to record at the time. Lyrically speaking about God in third person, she was unaware "He Is" was not a relationship-themed song when she recorded it.
"Almost Doesn't Count" is a song by American singer Brandy Norwood. It was written by Shelly Peiken and Guy Roche and recorded by Norwood for her second studio album, Never Say Never (1998). Atlantic Records consulted Fred Jerkins III to recut the song to be more consistent with the overall sound of the album. He would subsequently share production credit along with Roche. A pop and R&B-ballad combining elements of country, it incorporates Latin flavored riffs. The song's lyrics are based on an on-again, off-again relationship that Peiken had experienced during her college years.
MoKenStef is an American female R&B trio from Los Angeles, active from 1994 until 2000. The group name was a combination of the first syllable of each member's name: Monifa, Kenya, and Stefanie. They released an album, Azz Izz, in 1995, and their biggest hit was "He's Mine", which peaked at #7 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also spent one week in the UK Singles Chart in September 1995 at #70. Their second single, "Sex in the Rain", was not as successful, peaking only at #41 on the US R&B chart.
