B. Satyaji Rao (16 October 1929 – 28 September 2021) was an Indian Test cricket umpire. [1] [2]

He was born in Bangalore, British Raj. He was an umpire in first-class cricket from 1956 to 1981. He umpired the final of the Ranji Trophy five times – 1963–64, 1966–67, 1970–71, 1971–72, 1975–76 – and the final of the Duleep Trophy four times – 1964–65, and three years running, 1971–72, 1972–73, and 1973–74.

He stood in 17 Test matches between 1960 and 1979, setting an Indian record subsequently equalled by Swaroop Kishen in 1984 and then surpassed by VK Ramaswamy (26 matches between 1985 and 1999) and Srinivasaraghavan Venkataraghavan (73 matches between 1993 and 2004). All of the Test matches he umpired were played in India.

He first stood as a Test umpire in the 3rd Test between India and Pakistan at Eden Gardens in Calcutta in December 1960, with Santosh Ganguli. His last Test as an umpire was the 6th Test between India and West Indies at Modi Stadium in Kanpur in February 1979, with P. R. Punjabi.

B. Satyaji Rao died in Bengaluru on 28 September 2021 at the age of 92. [3]

He announced his retirement from international cricket on 26 September 2012, after the 2012 ICC World Twenty20 final. He subsequently worked as the ICC's Umpire Performance and Training Manager until October 2015. In 2020 he joined the Channel Seven commentary team as an expert commentator for the 2020/21 test series.

Chetan Pratap Singh Chauhan was a cricketer who played 40 Test matches for India. He played Ranji Trophy for Maharashtra and Delhi. Chauhan played most of his international cricket in the late 1970s and was the regular opening partner of Sunil Gavaskar during that period. Chetan Chauhan was appointed Chairman of NIFT from June 2016 to June 2017. He was also twice elected to the Lok Sabha from Amroha in Uttar Pradesh, in 1991 and 1998. From 2018 to 2020, he was minister for youth and sports in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.

Deshabandu Handunnettige Deepthi Priyantha Kumar Dharmasena is a Sri Lankan cricket umpire and former international cricketer. He is a member of the Elite Panel of ICC Umpires and the first person to participate in an ICC Cricket World Cup final both as a player and an umpire. A right-handed batsman and a right-arm off break bowler, Dharmasena was a member of the Sri Lankan side that won the 1996 Cricket World Cup.

Jeremy William Lloyds was an English cricket player and umpire. A left-handed batsman and right-arm off break bowler, he played for Somerset, Orange Free State and Gloucestershire before his retirement in 1991. Lloyds made his umpiring debut in 1996 and graduated to county cricket in 1998 and international games in 2000.

Rajinder Pal was an Indian cricketer who played in one Test in 1964. He played first-class cricket in India from 1954 to 1973.

Karumanaseri Narayanaiyer Ananthapadmanabhan is an Indian cricket umpire and former first-class cricketer from the state of Kerala. He played for the India "A" national team in international cricket and for South Zone and Kerala in Indian domestic cricket. He is a former captain of Kerala state Ranji Trophy team. He now serves as an umpire at the first-class level and officiates in domestic cricket tournaments in India, including the Ranji Trophy and Indian Premier League. In August 2020, Ananthapadmanabhan was promoted to the International Panel of ICC Umpires.

P. K. Dharmalingam was an Indian cricketer. He played in 29 first class matches for Madras and Services between 1960 and 1970 with a batting average of 28.30 and a bowling average of 20.50.
