BAM! Volume 1 is Sister Hazel's first compilation album. It was released on June 5, 2007. It is a "hybrid" album, combining tracks from the Absolutely sessions, live demos, and unheard rare tracks.

The album includes all four bonus tracks released from Absolutely ("Can't Get You Off My Mind", "Little Black Heart", "On Your Mind", and "Wrong the Right Way").

Jim McCarty (guitarist)

James William McCarty is an American blues rock guitarist from Detroit, Michigan. He has performed with Mitch Ryder and The Detroit Wheels, the Buddy Miles Express, Cactus, The Rockets, the Detroit Blues Band, and more recently, Mystery Train. Since about 2014 Jim McCarty has joined forces with Detroit blues guitarist/songwriter Kenny Parker in The Kenny Parker Band along with several other veteran Detroit blues/rock musicians. He also makes guest appearances with other Detroit bands, most notably for an annual pre New Year's Eve party at one of his favorite clubs, "Callahan's", with The Millionaires, a nine piece jump blues band.

Absolutely is Sister Hazel's sixth studio album. It was released on October 10, 2006 by Adrenaline/Wandering Hazel Records. It is Sister Hazel's first album since departing from their previous record label, Sixthman. "Mandolin Moon", was the first single. The album was leaked to torrent websites on August 10, 2006. The leaked version was an advance copy of the CD and featured a short spoken-word track in place of "Hello It's Me."

The Hits Album 5 or Hits 5 is a compilation album released in November 1986 by RCA-Ariola, CBS and WEA. It was the fifth in the Hits series which would span over 20 years, with the first volume released in December 1984.
