Ten Minutes Older is a 2002 film project consisting of two compilation feature films titled The Trumpet and The Cello. Mark James Patrick Kermode is an English film critic and musician. He is the chief film critic for The Observer, contributes to the magazine Sight & Sound, presents the BBC Four documentary series Mark Kermode's Secrets of Cinema, co-presents the BBC Radio 5 Live show Kermode and Mayo's Film Review, and previously co-presented the BBC Two arts programme The Culture Show. Kermode is a member of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts. Kermode is a founding member of the skiffle band the Dodge Brothers, for which he plays double bass.
Jeremy Jack Thomas, CBE is a British film producer, founder and chairman of Recorded Picture Company. He produced Bernardo Bertolucci's The Last Emperor, which won the 1988 Academy Award for Best Picture. In 2006 he received a European Film Award for Outstanding European Achievement in World Cinema. His father was director Ralph Thomas, while his uncle Gerald Thomas directed all of the films in the Carry On franchise.
The BFI London Film Festival is an annual film festival founded in 1957 and held in the United Kingdom, running for two weeks in October with co-operation from the British Film Institute. It screens more than 300 films, documentaries and shorts from approximately 50 countries.
Stephen Woolley is an English film producer and director, whose prolific career has spanned over three and a half decades, for which he was awarded the BAFTA award for Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema in February 2019. The Leopard of Honour is a life's work achievement award at the Locarno International Film Festival held annually in Locarno, Switzerland. The award has been given out since 1989. The award especially denotes recognition of auteur cinema and creative and audacious filmmaking. Starting 2009 the prize was named in Italian and after its sponsor, becoming the "Pardo d'onore Swisscom".
Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard are British artists and filmmakers. Forsyth was born in Manchester in 1973, Pollard in Newcastle in 1972. In 2013 they celebrated 20 years of working together with a party at the 100 Club in London.

Contemporary Films is the oldest independent film distribution company in the UK. It was founded by Charles Cooper (1910–2001) in 1951. It continues to distribute films to cinemas and TV, and videos and DVDs to the general public, as well as supplying footage to programme-makers.
Into Film is a charity supported principally by the British Film Institute, Cinema First and Northern Ireland Screen. Into Film aims to put film at the heart of children and young people’s educational, cultural and personal development.
The Paris Pullman is a former arthouse cinema, in the Brompton district, of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea London, England. It was closed and the building sold for redevelopment in 1983.
