Paduvaaralli Pandavaru is a 1978 Indian Kannada language film directed by Puttanna Kanagal. It stars Ambareesh, Ramakrishna and Jai Jagadish as the protagonists and Aarathi makes an extended special appearance in the role of a journalist. The movie was an adaptation of the epic Mahabharata. The film stars Aarathi in the main role of the female protagonist Sarla opposite Rajeev and Jai Jagadish. The film has musical score by M. Ranga Rao. Aarathi who had previously starred in two movies based on Usha Navratnaram's novels was signed for the role. Ramakrishna who was to play the antagonist was replaced by Jai Jagdish since Ramakrishna had played the role of Aarathi's son (Ranganayaki) only a couple of years earlier and the director felt that the audience may not accept the pairing.

Keerthi Raj with cinematography handled by H. G. Raju and editing done by Victor Yadav duo starring Ambareesh, Ambika, Anuradha, Umashree, T. N. Balakrishna, Vajramuni and Mukhyamantri Chandru in the major roles. The film received a U/A Certificate from the Bangalore regional office of the censor board, the certificate dated 6/11/1986 with 9 cuts.
