Jai Jagadish (born 29 June 1954) is an Indian actor, director and producer in the Kannada film industry. Starting his career as an actor in Phalitamsha (1976), he went on to feature in over 300 films as an actor.[ citation needed ] In 1998, he turned producer for the film Bhoomi Thayiya Chochchala Maga . His debut directorial film was Madana .[ citation needed ] Some of the notable films of Jai Jagadish as an actor include Gaali Maathu (1981), Benkiyalli Aralida Hoovu (1983), Bandhana (1984), Madhuve Madu Tamashe Nodu (1986) and Garjane (1981), among others. His film Kothigalu Saar Kothigalu won the Filmfare Award for Best film. He is the President of Wakayama Karate-Do India.
He is from Somwarpet,Coorg.He divorced his first wife Roopa and the custody of his daughter Arpitha was given to his wife Roopa. [1] Later he married to Vijayalakshmi Singh. They have 3 daughters - Vaibhavi and twins Vaisiri & Vainidhi respectively.

Karaganahalli Subbaraya Ashwathanarayana was an Indian veteran actor who appeared in Kannada films He appeared in over 370 films during his five-decade-long career. His only memorial in the whole of Karnataka, India is in the Kengeri satellite town, Bengaluru. Memorial name - "K. S. Ashwath Memorial Children's Park".

B. S. Lokanath was an Indian cinematographer who worked in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi films. He is well known as the cinematographer of K. Balachander and has worked in 55 films with him. During his career, he won the National Film Award for Best Cinematography for Apoorva Raagangal (1975) and the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Cinematographer for Ninaithale Inikkum (1979). He died of a heart attack in Chennai on 9 December 2011.
Channapatna Ramaswami Simha, better known as C. R. Simha, was an Indian actor, director, dramatist and playwright. He was best known for his work in Kannada films and for his work in stage shows. Starting his career in Prabhat Kalavidaru, a theatre group based in Bengaluru he acted in numerous Kannada plays which reached the cult status. B. C. Gowrishankar was an Indian cinematographer and an occasional film director and screenwriter who worked primarily in Kannada cinema. He was known for his unorthodox style as a cinematographer and was recognised for his work in both art and commercial films.
