Srinivasa Sarja, better known by his stage name Arjun Sarja or simply Arjun, is an Indian actor, producer, and director who works predominantly in Tamil cinema in addition to Telugu and Kannada films and a few Malayalam and Hindi films. Referred to by the media and his fans as "Action King" for his roles in action films, Arjun has acted in more than 160 films, most of them being lead roles. He is one of few South Indian actors to attract fan following from multiple states of India. He has directed 12 films and also produced and distributed a number of films.

Jigarthanda (transl. Cold-hearted) is a 2016 Indian Kannada-language action comedy film directed by Shiva Ganesh, written by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Kichcha Creations and SRV Productions. It is a remake of Subbaraj's 2014 Tamil film of same name which itself was inspired by the 2006 South Korean movie A Dirty Carnival. It stars Rahul Salanke and Samyukta Hornad along with P. Ravi Shankar, Chikkanna, Dharma, K. Manju, Guruprasad, Sadhu Kokila and Veena Sundar in supporting roles. Arjun Janya composed film's score and soundtrack. It was released on 24 June 2016.

Ravi Shankar reprising their roles, alongside Aftab Shivdasani, Madonna Sebastian, Nawab Shah, Shraddha Das, Abhirami, Tarak Ponnappa in prominent roles. Ranam is a 2021 Indian Kannada-language film written and directed by V Samudra, and produced by Kanakapura Srinivas starring Chiranjeevi Sarja, Deepti Sati, Chetan Kumar and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar with a music score by Ravi Shankar and Chinna and cinematography by Niranjan Babu it was released in India on 26 March 2021. The film marks Sarja's penultimate and posthumous appearance following his untimely demise on 7 June 2020.
