Bahawalanzai (Urdu : بہاولانزی) is a sub clan of Marri Baloch tribe. It is also known as "Sardar" of the tribe because the Sardar (leader) of Marri tribe belongs to this clan of the tribe in Balochistan, Pakistan. In the 2012 census, its population was approximately 24,000 people. [ citation needed ]

Marri is the bravest cast in the world and the strongest Baloch tribes in Balochistan, Pakistan. The Marri tribe has three major sub-clans; Gazeni, Bijarani and Lohrani.they date back to 900 years.previously they were a sub tribe of rind but due to tne stuborness and honour of bijar they refused to march further ahead with king chakar and stayed back in kohlu district.it was previously occupied by phatan, zarkoon and other pashtoon tribes which were driven out by the marri tribe, who then slowly conquered kholu. they are one of the strongest tribes in balochistan. raisank are nothing in front of them and are scared of them and so are many other tribes.Mir Fateh khan Marri the head of the sub tribe bijarani (from 1950 till 1980) is famous throughout balochistan and is still spoken about his courage and chivalry.it is said that during a meeting of shahi jirgah, a asassination was attempted on, but due to his bravery and fearlessnes he did not flinch or move a inch when a shot was fired. it is said that no one has ever seen the back of marri during battle. Marri was also one of the only tribe in pakistan to have fought the british unlikely other tribes such as raisani who formed alliance with the British. this act was of grest honour.

Khetran

The Khetran are a Baloch tribe found in the northeast of the Balochistan province of Pakistan. Their area is a large hilly tract in the Sulaiman Mountains comprising the whole of Barkhan District as well as small parts of neighbouring Kohlu District to the south-west, and Musakhel District to the north. The total population is about 150,000, and at least two thirds are speakers of the Khetrani language. The Khetrans settled to the east in the Dera Ghazi Khan District of Punjab are speakers of Saraiki.

'Dehwar is a Baloch tribe inhabiting Balochistan, Pakistan. Dehwar tribe has several clans including Alizai, Yousafzai, Khuwajakhail, Mandozai and Kabulizai etc. The chief of Dehwar Tribe is from the kabulizai Clan. The current chief of Dehwar tribe is Sardar Shakkel Dehwar, He is the elder son of Late Sardar Siddiq Dehwar, a well known politician and respected personality of Balochistan.

Mawand is located in the Kohlu District of Balochistan, Pakistan. It is the place where the first helicopter to start the counter insurgency operations landed. A fort housing the Frontier Corps men and officers also existed there, but was destroyed in an earthquake.

Hindkowans are an linguistic-cultural group native to the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pothohar Plateau and Azad Kashmir regions of Pakistan. Hindkowans have mixed origins and almost all speak various Hindko dialects. They were originally settled in the northern regions of Pakistan primarily concentrated near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. At present, Hindkowans mainly inhabit Peshawar, Nowshera, Swabi, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur and Attock. Those who live in Afghanistan are known as Hindkis. Some Hindkowans have left the region and now live in other parts of South Asia, such as; Indian-controlled Jammu & Kashmir and Pakistani-controlled Azad Kashmir.

Marri-Bugti Country was a tribal region during the British occupation of Baluchistan. Marris and Bugtis are the strongest Baloch tribes in the Balochistan. The Marris occupied 8,460 square kilometres (3,268 sq mi) in the north, while the Bugtis occupied 10,000 square kilometres (3,861 sq mi) in the south. Today, the region is divided into three districts: Kohlu, Dera Bugti and Sibi.

Jarwar is a sub-tribe from the Gazini branch of Marri Baloch. Although some families of Jarwar are still living in their native place near Kahan but they are now split into various groups and living in many areas of Balochistan, Sindh and Southern Punjab. Many Jarwar elders considered this displacement from their native land and splitting into various groups is the result of many problems including tribal disputes, property disputes, shortage of food for men and their animals, search of peace and food are main reasons for migration and settle at new places.

Buledi is a clan of the Buledi (Burdi) tribe, a Baloch people, in Balochistan and Sindh, Pakistan.

Luni is one of the largest branch of Sadozai clan of Durrani tribe of Pashtuns mainly living in Pakistan including in the town of Luni and Loralai districts of Balochistan province of Pakistan. Some of Luni families are also living in Quetta and other areas of Balochistan, Pakistan. Luni tribe use 'Sardar' title at the beginning of their names. to refer to their putative part-descent from the Sadozai clan of King Ahmad Shah Durrani.

Hyrbyair Marri is a Baloch nationalist activist from the Pakistani province of Balochistan. He is the fifth son of the Baloch nationalist leader Khair Bakhsh Marri. As of 2017, he resides in London.

The Chhalgari or Chhalgri is a sub-tribe of Marri found in Sindh and Balochistan, divided into two groups, Jhanda khail and wadera khail. The leader of both the clans is Mir Ismail Khan, son of Mir Jhanda Khan. The Jhanda Khail and Wadera Khail are located in Kachhi region. They are considered to be the only clan that have never been involved in wars within Balochs.
