The Chhalgari [1] or Chhalgri [2] (Sindhi : ڇلگري) is a sub-tribe of Marri found in Sindh and Balochistan, divided into two groups, Jhanda khail and wadera khail. The leader of both the clans is Mir Ismail Khan, son of Mir Jhanda Khan. The Jhanda Khail and Wadera Khail are located in Kachhi region. They are considered to be the only clan that have never been involved in wars within Balochs.[ citation needed ]

Sindhi, is an Indo-Aryan language of the historical Sindh region in the northern part of the Indian subcontinent, spoken by the Sindhi people. It is the official language of the Pakistani province of Sindh. In India, Sindhi is one of the scheduled languages officially recognized by the central government, though Sindhi is not an official language of any of the states in India.

Marri is one of the strongest Baloch tribes in Balochistan, Pakistan. The Marri tribe has three major sub-clans; Gazeni, Bijarani and Lohrani.they date back to 900 years.previously they were a sub tribe of rind but due to tne stuborness and honour of bijar they refused to march further ahead with king chakar and stayed back in kohlu district.it was previously occupied by phatan, zarkoon and other pashtoon tribes which were driven out by the marri tribe, who then slowly conquered kholu. they are one of the strongest tribes in balochistan. raisank are nothing in front of them and are scared of them and so are many other tribes.Mir Fateh khan Marri the head of the sub tribe bijarani (from 1950 till 1980) is famous throughout balochistan and is still spoken about his courage and chivalry.it is said that during a meeting of shahi jirgah, a asassination was attempted on, but due to his bravery and fearlessnes he did not flinch or move a inch when a shot was fired. it is said that no one has ever seen the back of marri during battle. Marri was also one of the only tribe in pakistan to have fought the british unlikely other tribes such as raisani who formed alliance with the British. this act was of grest honour.

People of Chhalgri tribe were lived in Harnai mountain latter they migrated to kachhi region of Balochistan [ citation needed ] People of Chhalgri tribe came into Sindh with Talpurs & almost 500 chhalgri soldiers were recruited in Talpurs's Army. Chhalgri tribe participated & fought in Battle of Maini under the flag of talpurs.[ citation needed ]

Harnai is a district in the north-east of Balochistan province of Pakistan. Harnai is the principal town of this district and serves as its capital. The predominant first language is Pashto – in the 1998 census it accounted for 90% of the population of the Harnai subdivision of Sibi, while Balochi accounted for 7.2%. Wanetsi, a unique and archaic dialect of Pashto, is spoken in the district.

The district of Kachhi or Kacchi, known until 2008 as Bolan, is a district in central Balochistan, Pakistan. The Bolan area remained under one district Kacchi until 31 December 1991. The Deputy Commissioner’s office started functioning on 17 May 1992, and Bolan became one of the four districts of Naseerabad Division, until the abolition of Divisions in 2000.

Etymology

Chhalgari or Chhalgri is originally derived from Pashto dialact "Chalgari" or Wanetsi also called Tarino which is spoken by Tareen tribes in Pakistan and Afghanistan, principally in Harnai and Sinjwani area of east Quetta, Northern Balochistan.[ citation needed ]

Pashto, sometimes spelled Pukhto, is the language of the Pashtuns. It is known in Persian literature as Afghāni (افغانی) and in Hindustani literature as Paṭhānī. Speakers of the language are called Pashtuns/Pakhtuns/Pathans and sometimes Afghans. It is an Eastern Iranian language, belonging to the Indo-European family. Pashto is one of the two official languages of Afghanistan, and it is the second-largest regional language of Pakistan, mainly spoken in the west and northwest of the country. Waṇētsī, also called Tarīnō, Chalgarī, or Waneci, is a Pashto dialect which is spoken by a small population of Tareen tribes in Pakistan and Afghanistan, primarily in Harnai and Sanjawi area east of Quetta, northern Balochistan, Pakistan. Wanetsi has some similarities with the Pamir language of Munji, which is spoken in the southern part of Badakhshan Province, northeastern Afghanistan.

The Tareen is a tribe of Western Pashtun who inhabit Southern Afghanistan, the Balochistan province of Pakistan and Hazara region of northwestern Pakistan.

Balochistan is divided between the Pakistani province of Balochistan, the Iranian province of Sistan and Baluchestan and the Afghan region of Balochistan. Prehistoric Balochistan dates to the Paleolithic.

Sanghar District is one of the largest districts of Sindh province, Pakistan. It has an area of 9874 square kilometres. It is located in the centre of Sindh and is bounded to the east by India. The Gabol is a Baloch tribe having a distinct identity through the centuries, and not a branch of any other Baloch tribe. During the reign of Mir Jalal Khan, the Gabol joined the Rind Federation. Eventually, they joined Mir Chakar Khan Rind as an ally against the Lasharis. Despite their Near Eastern origin, at present, the tribe is largely settled in Karachi, and interior Sindh with significant numbers in Balochistan as well as Punjab.

Talpur is a Sindhi speaking Baloch tribe settled in Sindh, Punjab and Balochistan in Pakistan.

Sibi is a district in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. The main mountain ranges are Zen, Bambore and Dungan. The climatic and topography of Sibi District is quite varied compared to other districts of Balochistan. It is also known as the "Hot spot" of Pakistan where the temperatures in the summer exceed 52.6 °C (126.7 °F). Until 2013 the district had two sub-divisions, Sibi and Lehri, further organized into tehsils and sub-tehsils: Sibi, Lehri, Kutmandi and Sangan.

The Shirani (Urdu: شيرانی‎)—also called Sherani —are a Pashtun tribe, from the Bettani tribal confederacy, who live in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The Sherani are mostly settled in the Frontier Region Dera Ismail Khan, in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas of Pakistan and in the adjoining Sherani District of Balochistan, Pakistan. Some clans have settled in other surrounding districts of Balochistan; and in the Zabul, Ghazni, and Kandahar provinces of Afghanistan. Diasporic communities can also be found in the Indian states of Rajasthan and Gujarat.

Khaskheli is a Sindhi tribe in Sindh and Balochistan, Pakistan. The tribe trace its linkages as offshoot of Samma tribe in Sindh.

Lehri (Balochi: بلوچ‎ is a Baloch tribe in Balochistan, Pakistan. They are descended from the Rind Baloch and have emerged from the Domki tribe. The Lehris originally had their headquarters in Narmuk, Kalat District. They are spread in and around, Sibi, Dadar, Usta Mohammad, Mastung, Kalat, Kachhi and Quetta.

The Lanjwani are a clan of Rind tribe, Baloch which is settled in the Sindh, Balochistan and Punjab provinces of Pakistan.

Jhalawan

Jhalawan was an administrative division of the Khanate of Kalat, a princely state of Brahui that acceded to Pakistan in 1947. It was established in the 17th century and its boundary was fixed with Sindh in 1853. It was located in the southeastern part of Kalat State, north of Las Bela, west of the Kachi and Sindh and east of the Kharan and Makran. Jhalawan has important valleys of brahuistan, such as Kalat, Gidar, Baghbana, Mola Valley, Zehri, Firozabad valley, Wadh, Nal, Saruna, Jau and the Mashkai river. In Jhalawan, Khuzdar is the city largest city of Jhalawan and also second largest city of Balochistan Province. The main language is Brahui, brahvi. Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri is the tribal leader of zarakzai tribe. he is the current Chief of Jhalawan who termed as chief of Jhalawan tribes. The history also defines so many tribe who belongs to Jhalawan. Chhutto (Chhutta) is one of those.

Mir Ghalib Khan Domki or میر غالب خان ڈومکی is a politician and tribal leader in Sindh, Pakistan. Mir Ghalib Hussain Domki is chief Mukkaddim of Giloee clan of Domki tribe. Mir Ghalib Hussain Domki is one of the Wadera's of the Domki tribe in Sindh. He is elected as MPA from Kashmore District on PS-18 from 2008 to 2013

The Baloch is a Muslim community found in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. They are descended from Baloch tribesmen who settled in this region of North India in the late Middle Ages. The community use the surname Khan, and are often known as Khan Baloch.

The term "Balailzai (Panni)" refers to a Pashtun tribe in Afghanistan and Pakistan. Another name for the tribe of Panni is Balailzai. Like other Pashtuns, they have Eastern Iranian genetic and ethnolinguistic heritage. They descended from Gharghasht, one of Qais Abdur Rashīd's sons. Most are settled in parts of Pakistan or Afghanistan, such as Karachi, Quetta, Musakhail, Dera Ismail Khan, Mardan, Peshawar, Panian, Haripur, Kabul, Tank, Kohat, while there are some communities in the United States, United Kingdom, and other Western countries. They were, at one point in time, were holding main posts in the Government especially during the rule of Bahlol Lodhi. After his reign ended, they scattered and migrated to various parts of the Indian subcontinent and the Middle East. Panni's are migrated to South India. Panni are Nawab of Kurnool and Nawab of the Carnatic which rule in Mughal Empire. Most of the Panni's are settled in Pakistan.
