Indrans was popular for his comedy roles in the 1990s and 2000s.
Sudheer Kumar, better known by his stage name Maniyanpilla Raju, is an Indian actor and producer who works in Malayalam film industry. His debut film was Mohiniyaattam in 1976. He has played a variety of roles as a character actor, appearing in over 400 films. His stage name was derived from the character he played in the film Maniyanpilla Adhava Maniyanpilla (1981), his break-through role.
Anoop Menon is an Indian actor, director, screenwriter and lyricist. He worked in television before acting in Malayalam films and has acted in more than 75 films.
Johny Antony is an Indian film director and actor, known for making comedy films in Malayalam cinema. He is from Changanassery in Kottayam district, Kerala. He worked for about a decade as an associate to directors Thulasidas, Taha, Kamal and Jose Thomas. Antony made his directorial debut with the slapstick comedy C.I.D. Moosa in 2003.
Ashokan is an Indian actor known for his roles in Malayalam films. He made his film debut with Peruvazhiyambalam the film won the 1979 National film award for best feature film. He is best known for his roles in Yavanika (1982), Yuvajanotsavam (1986), Thoovanathumbikal (1987), Moonnam Pakkam (1988), In Harihar Nagar (1990), Amaram (1990), 2 Harihar Nagar (2009) and In Ghost House Inn (2010).
Viji Thampi is an Indian film director, actor, right-wing politician, and social activist who works in Malayalam films. Thampi is a member of Thiruvananthapuram regional board of the Central Board of Film Certification and the State Advisor of Kerala Kshetra Samrakshana Samithi. In 2021, Thampi was appointed as the Kerala State President of the Vishva Hindu Parishad. He was also a Jury member of National film awards declaration committee in 2022.
Nazriya Nazim Fahadh is an Indian actress and film producer who works predominantly in Malayalam and Tamil films. Nazriya is a recipient of several accolades including two Kerala State Film Awards, one Tamil Nadu State Film Award and one Filmfare Award South.
Maniyan Pilla Adhava Maniyan Pilla is a 1981 Indian Malayalam-language comedy film written, directed and scripted by Balachandra Menon. The film stars Sudheer Kumar, Venu Nagavally, Jose Prakash and Ambika. The film revolves around Maniyanpilla, an illiterate man from a poor household, who goes to the city to make a living. The film was produced and distributed by E. J. Peter under the banner of St. Martin Films. The producer had signed Kamal Haasan for the film as the lead actor, but due to circumstances, Menon replaced Haasan with his real life friend Sudheer Kumar as the lead actor. The film has a musical score by G. Devarajan. The cinematography was handled by Ramachandra Babu. The film was released on 1 May 1981 and was a commercial success and was a breakthrough for Sudheer Kumar, who adopted the hypocorism Maniyanpilla Raju after the success of the film.
Shine Tom Chacko is an Indian actor and former assistant director who works in Malayalam cinema. After working as an assistant to director Kamal for about 9 years, he forayed into acting through the film, Gaddama. He played supporting roles in several films including Ee Adutha Kaalathu, Chapters, Annayum Rasoolum ,Masala Republic, Jigarthanda DoubleX and played his first lead role in Binu S Kalady's fantasy-comedy film Ithihasa (2014) which dealt with body-swapping.
Dharmajan Bolgatty is an Indian actor, producer, comedian, politician and entrepreneur, who works in Malayalam films, television, and stage shows. He began his career as a comedian appearing in sketch comedies on stage, later forayed into such comedic television shows and into films in 2010s. Dharmajan entered active politics in 2021, ahead of the assembly elections in Kerala. He is a member of Indian National Congress and was the United Democratic Front candidate in Balusseri constituency.
Alencier Ley Lopez is an Indian film and theatre actor, who appears in Malayalam films. Lopez made his debut in the 1998 film Daya; and he worked in films like Annayum Rasoolum (2013), Njan Steve Lopez (2013), and Maheshinte Prathikaaram (2016).
Parvathi T., better known by her stage name Maala Parvathi, is an Indian actress, who appears mainly in Malayalam films.
Biju Sopanam is an Indian television, theatre, and film actor. He is best known for portraying the character of Balachandran Thampi in the popular sitcom Uppum Mulakum, broadcast on Flowers TV. He made his movie debut by acting in a small role in the hit movie Rajamanikyam in the year 2005. He is a renowned Sanskrit Drama Artist and have performed in many stages across the country. He was trained under Kavalam Narayana Panicker, the iconic Indian dramatist.

Once Upon a Time in Kochi is a 2024 Indian Malayalam language comedy film written by Raffi and directed by Nadirshah featuring Arjun Ashokan, Shine Tom Chacko, Johny Antony and Baiju Santhosh as lead characters. The film was released on 31 May 2024.
CID Ramachandran Retd. SI is a 2024 Indian Malayalam language crime thriller film written and directed by Sanoop Sathyan. He has also co-written the script with Aneesh V Sivadas. The film stars Kalabhavan Shajohn, Baiju Santhosh and Sudheer Karamana. Film produced by Shiju Mispa and Sanoop Sathyan. Principal photography began on 27 February 2023 with a customary pooja function held at Thiruvananthapuram.
Bha. Bha. Ba. is an upcoming Indian action adventure comedy film directed by Dhananjay Shankar and produced by Gokulam Gopalan, under the banner Sree Gokulam Movies. The film is written by Fahim Safar and Noorin Shereef. It stars Dileep, Vineeth Sreenivasan and Dhyan Sreenivasan, alongside an ensemble cast of Balu Varghese, Baiju Santhosh, Saranya Ponvannan, Sandy, Sidharth Bharathan, Ashokan and Redin Kingsley.
