The Balaji Temple of San Jose is a Hindu temple located in San Jose, California. Balaji Temple is a spiritual, non-profit organization dedicated to sharing the universal truths of the Vedas and Upanishads in India. The temple was established by Swami Narayananda in the year 2006 in Sunnyvale. [1] The permanent center in San Jose was inaugurated in the year 2012 from May 30 - June 3. [2] The ceremony was attended by Dave Cortese, serving on the Santa Clara Board of Supervisors and the Mayors of Milpitas and Sunnyvale. The temple also received a certification of recognition from the California State Assembly for the contribution to the community. [3]

In 2010, Balaji temple opened a sister center in Bangalore, India that's helping the community by offering free yoga classes and Meditation. [4] The temple also received a donation of 23 acre land in Hollister, CA, and is used for retreats.

The temple inaugurated a shrine dedicated to Sai Baba and Panduranga deities in 2013. [5]

Balaji temple celebrates all major Hindu Festivals like Shiv Rathri, Navrathri, Diwali. The Temple’s annual Guruvandana Puja is celebrated to glorify God and honor the Guru for the services rendered to the welfare of the people and the community. [6]

The mandir located in the Lilburn suburb of Atlanta, was constructed in accordance with ancient Hindu architectural scriptures, and is the largest mandir of its kind outside of India. The mandir is made of 34,450 pieces of hand-carved Italian marble, Turkish Limestone and Indian pink sandstone, situated on landscaped grounds spread over 30 acres. The mandir complex also includes a large assembly hall, family activity center, classrooms, and an exhibition on the key tenets of Hinduism. The mandir was built in 18 months and consists of 24,000 pieces of hand-carved Italian carrara marble, Turkish limestone and Indian pink stone. The mandir is the largest of its kind in Canada and was constructed according to guidelines outlined in ancient Hindu scriptures. The grounds spread over 18 acres and in addition to the mandir, include a haveli and the Heritage Museum. The mandir is open daily to visitors and for worship. The Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Karachi is a Hindu temple that is the only Swaminarayan temple in Pakistan. The temple is notable for its size and frontage, over 32,306 square yards (27,012 m2) on the M. A. Jinnah Road in Karachi city. The temple celebrated its anniversary of 216 years in April 2004. Swaminarayan Akshardham (North America)

Swaminarayan Akshardham in Robbinsville, New Jersey, is a Hindu mandir (temple) complex. The BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, one component of the campus, was inaugurated and opened to the public on August 10, 2014. Portions of the complex still under construction include the Akshardham Mahamandir and a visitor's center, which will include an exhibition on Hindu faith and culture.

Varahaswamy Temple, Tirumala

Sri Varahaswamy Temple, also called Bhu Varahaswamy Temple, is a Hindu temple dedicated to the god Varaha, situated at hill town of Tirumala in Tirupati, Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh state, India. The temple is situated on the northern premises of Venkateswara Temple, Tirumala, on north west corner of Swami Pushkarini. This temple is believed to be older than the Venkateswara Shrine.
