Baltic Handball League is a handball league, where participate the strongest clubs from Baltic states. The league is organized by Baltic Handball Association. [1] The league is established in the beginning of 1990s. [2]

1990 Baltic League was an international football competition organized in 1990 between three Baltic states with the ongoing dissolution of the Soviet Union. The league consisting of 18 clubs from the Lithuania SSR, Estonian SSR, the Latvian SSR and a special invitee FC Progress Cherniakhovsk from Kaliningrad Oblast. For Lithuanian teams the league also served as a preliminary tournament for the first post-Soviet Lithuanian football championship.

Rivalries in the KHL come in many categories. There's many rivalries that have carried over from the days of the Russian Superleague, while others are new and may disappear. Some are based on geography, while others are based on team names or organization that these teams belonged to back in the Soviet Union. Not all teams have pronounced rivalries that don't change with each season - this article attempts to chronicle only those that last for multiple years.

The 2013–14 Lithuanian Handball League season was the 25th season of the Lithuanian Handball League, the top level handball in Lithuania. Nine teams participated in the league. League started at 11 September 2013 and finished on 10 May 2014.

The 2014–15 Lithuanian Handball League season is the 26th season of the Lithuanian Handball League, the top level handball in Lithuania. Ten teams participated in the league. League started at 27 September 2014 and will finish on 16 May 2015.

The 2019–20 EHF Challenge Cup was the 23rd edition of the European Handball Federation's third-tier competition for men's handball clubs, running from 5 October 2019 to 24 May 2020. On 24 April 2020 EHF announced that the competition would be cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Gintaras Savukynas is a professional Lithuanian handball player, who played in center back position. Savukynas played in the World and European championships with the Lithuania National Handball team as the team captain. In 2005, he officially announced the end of his career as a player, to which he became an assistant coach for the Lithuania men's national handball team, before becoming the head of the national handball team for five years.

The 2020–21 Lithuanian Handball League season was the 32nd season of the Lithuanian Handball League, the top level handball in Lithuania. Eight teams participated in the league. League started at 2 September 2020 and finished on 22 May 2021 in Vilnius.
