Bandi Yadagiri (born Venke Pally, Telangana) is an Indian revolutionary poet. He penned the song Bandi Enka Bandi Katti [1] about the atrocities of 7th Nizam of Hyderabad, Mir Osman Ali Khan which was re-written for the movie Maa Bhoomi .

Yadagiri was an ordinary member of the Left Party from Nalgonda during the Telangana armed struggle. [2]

<i>Kotasaurus</i> Extinct genus of dinosaurs

Kotasaurus is a genus of sauropod dinosaur from the Early Jurassic period (Sinemurian–Pliensbachian). The only known species is Kotasaurus yamanpalliensis. It was discovered in the Kota Formation of Telangana, India and shared its habitat with the related Barapasaurus. So far the remains of at least 12 individuals are known. The greater part of the skeleton is known, but the skull is missing, with the exception of two teeth. Like all sauropods, it was a large, quadrupedal herbivore with long neck and tail.

Maa Bhoomi is a 1979 Indian Telugu-language social problem film written and produced by B. Narsing Rao, based on the novel Jab Khet Jage by Krishan Chander on the Telangana Rebellion in Hyderabad State. The directorial debut of Goutam Ghose, depicts a typical life of villagers under feudalistic society in the Telangana region. The features Sai Chand, Rami Reddy and Telangana Shakuntala in pivotal roles. The plot follows Ramaiah, a landless peasant who joins the Telangana Rebellion of 1948.

Bandi Sanjay Kumar Indian politician (born 1971)

Bandi Sanjay Kumar is an Indian politician who is a Member of the Lok Sabha representing the Karimnagar constituency since 2019. In 2020, he was appointed as the state president of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Telangana. He is a board member of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bibinagar, Hyderabad, Telangana.

Gurram Yadagiri Reddy was a freedom fighter of Telangana rebellion and a veteran politician at Communist Party of India. He was elected as a member of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly three times. He represented Ramannapeta constituency from CPI. He was renowned freedom fighter during the Telangana peasants armed struggle at the time of the Nizam regime. Leaders from across the political spectrum remember Reddy as a simple and honest man “one who sent his children to government schools, never bought a car or a house” and a "role-model Communist”. He believed and followed communist ideology and moral philosophy until his last breath.

Telangana Bharatiya Janata Party is a state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Telangana. The headquarters is located in Hyderabad, the capital of the state. The party appointed Bandi Sanjay Kumar as the president of the BJP Telangana and he is currently serving to this position from 2020.
