They won the gold medal at the 1989 Women's Hockey Champions Trophy and the bronze medal at the 1990 Women's Hockey World Cup.

The China women's national field hockey team represents the People's Republic of China. The team won silver at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, as well as bronze at the 2002 Hockey World Cup in Perth, Australia. Also, the team won the 2002 Hockey Champions Trophy and finished second in 2004 and 2006.

The Dominican Republic women's national field hockey team represents the Dominican Republic in women's international field hockey competitions. The team won the silver medal at the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Games in Veracruz, Mexico.
