Hertfordshire is a ceremonial county in the East of England and one of the home counties. It borders Bedfordshire to the north-west, Cambridgeshire to the north-east, Essex to the east, Greater London to the south, and Buckinghamshire to the west. The largest settlement is Watford, and the county town is Hertford.
Palmerston is a planned satellite city of Darwin, the capital and largest city of Australia's Northern Territory. The University of Hertfordshire (UH) is a public university in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. The university is based largely in Hatfield, Hertfordshire. Its antecedent institution, Hatfield Technical College, was founded in 1948 and was identified as one of 25 Colleges of Technology in the United Kingdom in 1959. In 1992, Hatfield Polytechnic was granted university status by the British government and subsequently renamed University of Hertfordshire. It is one of the post-1992 universities.

Shephall is a neighbourhood of the new town of Stevenage in Hertfordshire. It was formerly a separate village and parish, being absorbed into Stevenage in 1953.
Bramcote is a suburban village and former civil parish in the Broxtowe district of Nottinghamshire, England, between Stapleford and Beeston. It is in Broxtowe parliamentary constituency. The main Nottingham–Derby road today is the A52, Brian Clough Way. Nearby are Beeston, Wollaton, Chilwell and Stapleford. One of the main roads between Nottingham and Derby used to pass through the village centre, entering a cutting that formed a blind bend. A country house to the north of the village became publicly owned and was demolished in 1968. Its grounds became a public area of park and hillside, now known as Bramcote Hills Park.
Universitybus Limited, trading as Uno, is a bus operator owned and operated by the University of Hertfordshire, serving members of the general public, and also its own students and staff. The service was set up in 1992, growing out of a shuttle service previously operated for students at Wall Hall College located near Watford connecting them to the other campuses of the university and the Polytechnic (Hatfield) before that.
Information and Communications University (ICU), established in 1998, was a Korean university focused primarily on research and engineering in the field of information technology. It was located in the city of Daejeon and comprised an engineering school and a management school. As of 2006, about 20% of the enrolled graduate students were international students. Unlike other Korean universities, almost all courses were taught in English.
Oaklands College is a further education college in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. It was established in 1991 when further education was reorganised. The college has campuses in St Albans and Welwyn Garden City, with a further provision in Borehamwood. Over 10,000 students study at the college annually, studying full time, part time and higher education courses as well as apprenticeships.

Nene Park Academy is a secondary academy school in Peterborough. The school was renamed in September 2011 when it converted to an academy upon joining Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust (CMAT). A new £15 million academy building was opened by Professor Robert Winston in February 2014. The academy's sponsorship by CMAT means it is partnered with the highly rated Swavesey Village College. Nene Park Academy is also home to Peterborough United Football Club's Youth Training Academy, and a partnership has been developed with the club.
The Federation of Catholic Regional Colleges (CRC) is a collaboration of five Catholic, coeducational secondary colleges, located in the north Western suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. Each College within the Federation is partially autonomous with its own administrative structures. As a complex, the federation is governed by the Catholic Regional Colleges Board and its students are identified in the community by a single uniform and College crest. The name of each college is a combination of its campus location prefixed with 'Catholic Regional College'.

NHC was established on 1 April 1991, through the amalgamation of Stevenage College, Hitchin College and Letchworth Technical College. NHC is graded 'Good with Outstanding features' by Ofsted.

Provision of education in the UAE began shortly after the establishment of the federation with the inception of the first university in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates University.
