The Pacific Games, is a continental multi-sport event held every four years among athletes from Oceania. The inaugural Games took place in 1963 in Suva, Fiji, and most recently in 2019 in Apia, Samoa. The Games were called the South Pacific Games from 1963 to 2007. The Pacific Games Council (PGC) organises the Games and oversees the host city's preparations. Athletes with a disability are included as full members of their national teams. In each sporting event, gold medals are awarded for first place, silver medals are awarded for second place, and bronze medals are awarded for third place.
The VII South Pacific Mini Games were held July 25-August 4, 2005 in Palau.

Christie Jenkins in Melbourne, Victoria is an Australian trampoline gymnast. Jenkins has competed at both Australian national and international level, and has been Australia's top-ranking female trampoline sports athlete. She was national champion for her age group from 1998 to 2003 and in Open division in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2009 and 2010. She competed in Individual trampoline, Double Mini-trampoline and Synchronised trampoline events, specialising in Double mini trampoline in later years.

The 2013 FIVB Beach Volleyball Swatch World Championships was a beach volleyball double-gender event, held from 1 to 7 July 2013 in Stare Jabłonki, Poland. The FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships are organized every two years, and Poland hosted the event for the first time. 48 teams per gender entered the competition making 96 total.

The 2017 Pacific Mini Games were held in Port Vila, Vanuatu, in December 2017. It was the tenth edition of the Pacific Mini Games, and the second to be hosted in Vanuatu.
The qualification for the 2013 Boys' Youth European Volleyball Championship was held from January 8–11, 2015. 31 teams are split into eight groups of 3 or 4 teams. The group winners and second placed teams were qualified for the 2015 Boys' Youth European Volleyball Championship in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.
The volleyball competition at the 2017 Games of the Small States of Europe was held at the Palestra A. Casadei, Serravalle from 30 May to 3 June 2017. The beach volleyball competition was held at special stage inside the Stadio di Baseball di Serravalle from 30 May to 2 June 2017.
Beach volleyball at the Pacific Games has been contested since 1999 when the sport was included at the Eleventh South Pacific Games held in Guam. Since that time, Beach volleyball has been one of the core sports of the Pacific Games, required to be included for both men and women in every games.
