Beach wrestling at the 2019 World Beach Games in Doha, Qatar was held on 14 and 15 October 2019. [1] The competitions were held on Katara Beach.

In February 2021, the gold medal won by Pouya Rahmani of Iran (men's +90 kg) and the silver medal won by Mercy Genesis of Nigeria (women's 50 kg) were forfeited due to anti-doping rule violations. [2] [3] The Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) subsequently reallocated the medals. [2]

The 2023 World Beach Games, officially known as the 2023 ANOC World Beach Games and colloquially as Bali 2023, will be the second edition of the World Beach Games, an international beach and water multi-sport event organized by the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC). Originally scheduled for 2021, it was postponed until 2023 due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Daniyar Kaisanov is a Kazakhstani freestyle wrestler. He is a two-time gold medalist at the Asian Wrestling Championships, a silver medalist at the Asian Games and a bronze medalist at the World Wrestling Championships. He also represented Kazakhstan at the 2020 Summer Olympics held in Tokyo, Japan.

Khasanboy Rakhimov is an Uzbekistani freestyle wrestler. He won one of the bronze medals in the men's 125 kg event at the 2019 World Wrestling Championships but his medal was stripped as he tested positive for a banned substance. He would have been scheduled to represent Uzbekistan at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, but the Olympic quota for that spot was given to a runner up.
