Beatriz Gomes (born 31 December 1979) is a Portuguese sprint canoer and marathon canoeist who has competed since the late first decade of the 21st century. She won a bronze medal in the K-4 200 m event at the 2009 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Dartmouth. She was World Champion in the K1 Marathon event in 2009. [1]

Gomes also competed in the K-2 500 m event at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, but was eliminated in the semifinals.

At the 2012 Summer Olympics, Gomes and her teammate Joana Vasconcelos reached the final of K-2 500 m, as did Gomes and the Portuguese K-4 500 m team. [2] [3]

Jevgenij Shuklin is a Russian-born Lithuanian sprint canoeist who has competed since 2003. He was world junior champion in 2003. He won a silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He won four bronze medals in the C-1 200 m event at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships, earning them in 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2014. He is also a three time European champion, in Pontevedra in 2007, in Trasona in 2010 and in Montemor-o-Velho in 2013. On 12 June 2019, the IOC stripped Jevgenij Shuklin of his silver medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Anne Rikala is a Finnish sprint canoer who has competed since 2005. She won four medals at the ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships with two silvers and two bronzes.

She finished first of the women in the 2011 Berg River Canoe Marathon, clocking an aggregate time of 19:06.02 in the 4-day event. Michele was the 2013 ICF Canoe Ocean racing (surfski) World Champion, won the silver medal at the 2015 ICF Ocean Racing World Championships.
