Earl of Verulam

Earl of Verulam is a title in the Peerage of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1815 for James Grimston, 4th Viscount Grimston. He was made Viscount Grimston at the same time. Verulam had previously represented St Albans in the House of Commons. In 1808 he had also succeeded his maternal cousin as tenth Lord Forrester. He was succeeded by his son, the second Earl.

Lord Beaumont currently properly refers only to the Duke of Norfolk as holder of the English Barony of Beaumont. However, in a historical context, it can refer either to a past holder of that Barony or to a holder of one of the extinct Viscountcies of Beaumont:

The arrondissement of Pontoise is an arrondissement of France in the Val-d'Oise department in the Île-de-France region. It has 105 communes. Its population is 338,425 (2016), and its area is 766.0 km2 (295.8 sq mi).

Beaumont is a northside suburb of Dublin city, Ireland, bordered by Donnycarney, Santry and Artane. It lies within the postal district of Dublin 9.
