Beaver Creek is a stream in western Douglas and eastern Taney counties of Missouri. It is a tributary to the White River of northern Arkansas.

Description

The creek was named due to the presence of beaver dams. [3]

The headwaters of Beaver Creek arise in northern Douglas County and extreme southeast Webster County northwest of Ava and southeast of Seymour. The stream flows south and southwest to join the White River southeast of Forsyth and south of Kissee Mills below the Lake Taneycomo powersite dam. [4]

The stream headwaters arise in SE Webster County and it joins the White River in Taney County. [2]

Just to the east of the old store building at Tigris, Beaver is crossed by Missouri Route 14 and a short distance to the south is joined by Honey Creek. The stream flows past Arno where Cowskin and Prairie creeks join it. Further south at Rome it is joined by Spring Creek. To the southwest of Rome, Beaver enters Taney County at Brownbranch. Past Brownbranch it flows west into the Mark Twain National Forest and is joined by Little Beaver Creek just north of Bradleyville. Beyond Bradleyville the Beaver flows through incised meanders past the Hercules Glades Wilderness area. At Kissee Mills Park the Beaver passes under US 160 and enters Bull Shoals Lake a short distance south at Beaver Creek Park. [4]

The drainage basin of the Beaver and its tributary streams encompasses an area of 267,344 acres (108,190 ha). [5]

Fall Creek is a small creek with headwaters in Stone County just south of Missouri Route 76 and northeast of Silver Dollar City. The stream enters Taney County and flows southeast between Route 76 and Missouri Route 265 through west Branson and joins the White River downstream of the Table Rock Lake dam in south Branson. It flows parallel to and then under Missouri Route 165. The White River enters Lake Taneycomo downstream.

It is located on Beaver Creek, approximately 10 miles (16 km) southwest of Ava on a county road one-half mile off the end of Route A and 3 miles (4.8 km) west of Smallett. Arno lies on Beaver Creek, about 7 miles (11 km) north and Brownbranch in Taney County lies on Beaver Creek, 4.6 miles (7.4 km) to the southwest.

Cowskin Creek is a stream in northwest Douglas and extreme southeastern Webster counties of Missouri. Cowskin has its headwaters in southeast Webster County west of Cedar Gap and is a tributary to Beaver Creek which it joins just west of the Arno store. The stream is bridged by Missouri Route 14 just east of the junction with Missouri Route K.

Hunter Creek (Bryant Creek tributary)

Hunter Creek is a stream in Douglas County, Missouri. It is a tributary of Bryant Creek. Hunter Creek headwaters arise north of Ava along the south of a ridge and Missouri Route 76. The stream flows southeast along State Route FF and is further fed by Turkey Creek from the north, Wildcat Creek from the southwest and the springwaters of the rainbow trout hatchery at Crystal Springs. The stream flows on to the east gaining the tributaries of Whites Creek and Dicky Creek before joining Bryant Creek at Vera Cruz. The community of Larissa was located along Hunter Creek near Crystal Springs.
