The 1904 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the III Olympiad and commonly known as St. Louis 1904, was an international multi-sport event which was celebrated in St. Louis, Missouri, United States, from August 29 until September 3, 1904, as part of an extended sports program lasting from July 1 to November 23, 1904, located at what is now known as Francis Field on the campus of Washington University in St. Louis. It was the first time that the Olympic Games were held outside Europe.

Wilfried Dietrich was a German heavyweight wrestler. Lila Ram competed in the freestyle wrestling in heavyweight and super heavyweight categories at the national as well as international level.
Bekir Özlü is an Olympian Georgian-born Turkish judoka competing in the 60 kg division. The 1.62 m tall sportsman is a member of Kocaeli BB Kağıt SK. Bekir Ozlu née Betkil Shukvani was born in Georgia but changed to Turkey in 2015. For Georgia he won European medals U17 and U20 and silver at the Senior European in 2011 in Istanbul. He won the European team title with Georgia in 2007. He won World Cups since 2011 and the Grand Slam of Rio in 2012. Ozlu won gold at the European Open in Minsk in 2017. He captured a bronze medal at the Grand Prix in Zagreb in 2017. Ozlu took gold at the Grand Prix The Hague in 2017.
Soner Demirtaş is a Turkish freestyle wrestler who competes in the 74 kg division. He won the European title in 2016, 2017 and 2018. He was bronze medalist at the Rio Olympics.
Semra Aksu is a Turkish sprinter. She competed in the women's 100 metres at the 1984 Summer Olympics.
Kenneth Bruce Reinsfield is a New Zealand wrestler. He competed in the men's freestyle 82 kg at the 1984 Summer Olympics. His younger brother Steve is also an Olympic wrestler.
