It was released to radio as the third single from the album on November 18, 2002, by Arista Records. The song was written by Lavigne and the production team the Matrix, who solely helmed its production. According to Lavigne, the song was inspired by feelings of loneliness she experienced over being single.
"It's My Life" is a song by the English new wave band Talk Talk. Written by Mark Hollis and Tim Friese-Greene, it was the title track on the band's second album and released as its first single in January 1984. It reached number 46 on the UK Singles Chart, but did better in several other countries, reaching number 33 in Germany, number 32 in New Zealand, number 25 in France and number 9 in Italy. In North America, it entered the Top 40 in both the United States and Canada. It peaked at number 1 on the US Dance Club Songs chart.
How the Mighty Fall is the third solo studio album from Take That band member, Mark Owen. The album was released on 18 April 2005, nearly two years after his second album and produced by Tony Hoffer. The album sold 3,280 copies in the UK and missed the top 100, remaining his lowest selling album in his solo career. Three singles were released from the album: "Makin' Out", "Believe in the Boogie" and "Hail Mary". This was the last studio album released by Owen before the reunion of his band Take That.

In 2006, "Unwritten" became the theme song for the MTV reality television series The Hills. It reached number five on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming her first top-ten hit in the United States.
"How Do I Live" is a song written by Diane Warren. It was performed by American singer, songwriter and actress Trisha Yearwood and was featured in the film Con Air. It was also performed by American singer and actress LeAnn Rimes and the extended version of the song was later featured on her second studio album, You Light Up My Life: Inspirational Songs (1997). Both versions were released to radio on May 23, 1997.

"Boogie 2nite" is a song by American singer Tweet from her debut studio album, Southern Hummingbird (2002). Tweet co-wrote the song with its producers, Nisan Stewart and John "Jubu" Smith. It was released on October 28, 2002, as the album's third and final single. The single's B-side, "Smoking Cigarettes", was also released as a promotional CD single. A music video for "Boogie 2nite" and "Smoking Cigarettes" was directed by Little X and filmed in Toronto over the weekend of September 28–29, 2002, but it was ultimately cancelled. "Boogie 2nite" was included on the soundtrack to the 2002 action thriller film The Transporter.

"Alone Without You" is the second and final single released from Take That band member Mark Owen's second solo studio album, In Your Own Time. The single was released on 27 October 2003. The single peaked at #26 on the UK Singles Chart. The song was originally called "For You". Following poor sales of both the album and single, Owen was dropped from Island Records in 2004. He later went on to record further material on his own independent label.
"Makin' Out" is the first single to be released from Take That band member Mark Owen's independently released third solo album, How the Mighty Fall. The single was released on 7 June 2004. The single peaked at #30 on the UK Singles Chart, and in an interview with BBC Radio 1, Owen blamed this upon poor promotion. "Makin' Out" became the most successful of Mark's independently released singles.

The Circus is the fifth studio album by British pop band Take That. It was released in the United Kingdom on 1 December 2008. The album was their second, and also their last, as a four-piece, as founding member Robbie Williams returned for their sixth studio album Progress (2010), before both Williams and Jason Orange departed prior to the release of 2014's III.
"Spark" is a song performed by Scottish singer Amy Macdonald. The song is her second single released from her album A Curious Thing and was released in the UK on 10 May 2010. The song has charted in Austria, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland, however it was the first time a single failed to chart in the UK.
"Hail Mary" is the third and final single from Take That band member Mark Owen's third solo studio album, How the Mighty Fall. The single was released on 2 December 2005. The song was recorded at Sunset Studios in Los Angeles between August 2004 and January 2005. The single received little to no promotion due to the reunion of Take That. The video for the track involves Owen playing a grand piano in a mansion hall, as well as lying on a bed while performing the song. Marta Kierblewska was cast as "Mary".
