As of 2011 Census, Belur village had population of 12,181 of which 5,837 are males and 6,344 are females. Belur village spreads over an area of 29.54 km2 (11.41 sq mi) with 2,938 families residing in it. The sex ratio of Belur was 1,087 higher than state average of 1,084.
