Benjamin Stasiulis (born 20 July 1986) is a French swimmer. [1] He has competed at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics.
At the 2008 Olympics, he competed in the men's 100 m backstroke, failing to reach the semifinals, and swam the backstroke leg for the French 4 × 100 m relay team, which failed to qualify for the final. [2]
At the 2012 Summer Olympics he finished 31st overall in the heats in the Men's 100 metre backstroke and failed to reach the semifinals. He also failed to progress from the heats of the men's 200 m backstroke. [2]
Stasiulis is of Lithuanian descent from his father's side. [3] [4]
The men's 100 metre backstroke was one of six swimming events on the swimming at the 1908 Summer Olympics programme. It was the only backstroke event on the schedule. It was the first appearance of the event, after a 100-yard event was held in 1904. The competition was held on Thursday July 16, 1908 and on Friday July 17, 1908.

The Cayman Islands sent a delegation to compete at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China. The delegation included fifteen people; of the delegation, four athletes participated under the Caymanian flag. In the track and field events was Ronald Forbes, who also served as the Cayman Islands' flag-bearer during the Opening Ceremony and reached quarterfinals in the 110m hurdles, and Cydonie Mothersille, who reached finals and ranked eighth in the 200m dash. The Cayman Islands' appearance at the Beijing Olympics marked its ninth appearance since its debut at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal. The Cayman Islands, up to and including Beijing, have yet to medal.
Pedro Diogo Tavares Martins de Oliveira is a Portuguese swimmer, who specialized in backstroke and butterfly events. He is a two-time Olympian, and a double silver medalist in the 200 m backstroke at the European Junior Championships. He also holds four Portuguese records, two national titles, and has produced a stellar performance at the NCAA Swimming Championships, earning five All-American titles as a member of Louisville Cardinals.
Christopher James Walker-Hebborn is an English swimmer who competed for Great Britain at the 2012 Summer Olympics and the 2016 Summer Olympics, winning a silver medal at the latter.

Marcin Tarczyński is a Polish swimmer, who specialized in freestyle and backstroke events. He is a silver medalist at the 2008 European Junior Swimming Championships in Belgrade, Serbia, and later represented Poland at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. While studying in the United States, Tarczynski also holds a school record and 200 m individual medley title at the 2012 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships.
Oleksandr Isakov is a Ukrainian swimmer. He swam for the Ukraine in three events at the 2008 Summer Olympics, the 100 m backstroke, finishing in 38th place, the 200 m backstroke, finishing in 39th place, and the men's 4 x 100 m medley relay. At the 2012 Summer Olympics he finished 35th overall in the heats in the Men's 100 metre backstroke and failed to reach the semifinals. He finished in 30th position in the men's 200 m backstroke.

Florent Manaudou is a French competitive swimmer, an Olympic champion of the 50-meter freestyle at the 2012 London Olympics, and the younger brother of Laure Manaudou, a 2004 Olympic gold medalist in swimming. He currently holds the world record in the 50-meter backstroke. He competes for the Energy Standard Swim Club in the International Swimming League.
Gábor Balog is a Hungarian swimmer, who competed at the 2008, 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics.
Mohammed Rubel Rana is a Bangladeshi swimmer, who specialized in backstroke events. He was one of the five athletes to represent Bangladesh at the 2008 Summer Olympics, rounding out the field of 45 swimmers in the men's 100 m backstroke.
Andres Olvik is an Estonian swimmer, who specialized in backstroke events. He represented his nation Estonia at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and has won two gold medals in a backstroke double at the 2011 Baltic Championships in Riga, Latvia. Apart from his medal treasury, he also set a long-course Estonian record in the 200 m backstroke (2:02.67) at the 2012 European Championships in Debrecen, Hungary. Olvik currently trains for the Estonian national team, while coaching numerous age groups at Kalev Swim School in Tallinn.
Kim Ji-heun is a South Korean swimmer, who specialized in backstroke events. He represented his nation South Korea at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and also claimed a silver medal as a member of the 4×100 m medley relay team at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, China.
Sung Min is a South Korean former swimmer, who specialized in freestyle and backstroke events. He represented South Korea in three editions of the Olympic Games, and held multiple national championship titles and swimming records in the relay freestyle and backstroke events. Sung had also won a total of five bronze medals, including one from the 50 m backstroke, at the 2002 Asian Games in Busan, South Korea, and at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar.
Benjamin Lo-Pinto is a Seychellois former swimmer, who specialized in backstroke events. Lo-Pinto has collected two medals from the All-Africa Games, and later represented Seychelles at the 2000 Summer Olympics, where he became the nation's flag bearer in the opening ceremony.
Corey Charles Garth Main is a New Zealand swimmer who qualified to compete at the 2016 Summer Olympics to be held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in the men's 100 metre backstroke.
