A lever is a simple machine consisting of a beam or rigid rod pivoted at a fixed hinge, or fulcrum. A lever is a rigid body capable of rotating on a point on itself. On the basis of the locations of fulcrum, load and effort, the lever is divided into three types. It is one of the six simple machines identified by Renaissance scientists. A lever amplifies an input force to provide a greater output force, which is said to provide leverage, which is mechanical advantage gained in the system, equal to the ratio of the output force to the input force. As such, the lever is a mechanical advantage device, trading off force against movement.
Klamath National Forest is a 1,737,774-acre national forest, in the Klamath Mountains and Cascade Range, located in Siskiyou County in northern California, but with a tiny extension into southern Jackson County in Oregon. The forest contains continuous stands of ponderosa pine, Jeffrey pine, Douglas fir, red fir, white fir, lodgepole pine, Baker Cypress, and incense cedar. Old growth forest is estimated to cover some 168,000 acres (680 km2) of the forest land. Forest headquarters are located in Yreka, California. There are local ranger district offices located in Fort Jones, Happy Camp, and Macdoel, all in California. The Klamath was established on May 6, 1905. This forest includes the Kangaroo Lake and the Sawyers Bar Catholic Church is located within the boundaries of the Forest. The Forest is managed jointly with the Butte Valley National Grassland.

It is cited in the Periplus of Pseudo-Scylax, which mentions that it was an Emporium and was located between the river Melas, which flows into the Gulf of Melas, and Cardia. It has been suggested that it would be the same as a city called Deiraeus or Deiraios (Δειραῖος), cited by Stephanus of Byzantium and appearing in an inscription according to which it belonged to the Delian League.

Rostojávri (Northern Sami), Råstojaure (Swedish), or Store Rostavatn (Norwegian) is a lake on the border between Norway and Sweden. The Norwegian side of the lake is located in Målselv Municipality in Troms og Finnmark county and the Swedish side of the lake is located in Kiruna Municipality in Norrbotten County. The Norwegian part of the lake lies inside Øvre Dividal National Park. The lake lies at an elevation of 680 metres (2,230 ft) and covers a total area of 34.24 square kilometres (13.22 sq mi); with 3.67 square kilometres (1.42 sq mi) located in Norway and the remaining 30.57 square kilometres (11.80 sq mi) are located in Sweden.
Argiza was a Greek town located in ancient Mysia and later in the Byzantine province of Hellespontus. On the Tabula Peutingeriana it is spelled Argesis and placed between Pergamum and Cyzicus. Pliny the Elder notes the town as Erizii and in his day it belonged to the conventus of Adramyttium. In later times it was Christianized and became a bishopric. No longer a residential see, it was restored under the name Algiza by the Roman Catholic Church as a titular see.

Stectorium or Stektorion was a town of ancient Phrygia, in the Phrygian Pentapolis between Peltae and Synnada, inhabited during Roman and Byzantine times. Pausanias believed that Mygdon's tomb was located here.
Toriaeum or Toriaion was a town of ancient Lycia, inhabited during Roman and Byzantine times. During Roman times it was a Roman colony; during Byzantine times it seems to have appeared in the Synecdemus as Komistaraos.
