Roanoke is an independent city in the U.S. state of Virginia. At the 2020 census, the population was 100,011, making it the eighth-most populous city in the state and the largest city west of Richmond. It is located in the Roanoke Valley of the Roanoke Region of Virginia.

Between 2016 and 2017 the population of Brambleton, VA grew from 17,063 to 19,876, a 16.5% increase and its median household income grew from $164,321 to $173,690, a 5.7% increase. Construction started on the Brambleton community in 2001.

Owens is a small unincorporated crossroads community at the intersection of Dahlgren Road, Windsor Drive, and Owens Drive in King George County, Virginia, United States. State Routes 206 and 218 meet at this intersection, with 206 going east towards U.S. Route 301 and Dahlgren, 218 going south towards US 301 and Colonial Beach and 206 and 218 joined together going west towards Arnolds Corner and Fredericksburg. The eastern part of the community is within the Dahlgren census-designated place.
State Route 114 is a primary state highway in the U.S. state of Virginia. Known as Peppers Ferry Road, the state highway runs 10.32 miles (16.61 km) from U.S. Route 11 in Fairlawn east to US 460 in Christiansburg. SR 114 is the northernmost of three east–west highways between Radford and Christiansburg and the most direct highway between Radford and Blacksburg.
