The album was supported by four singles in total; "Winner" featuring Justin Timberlake and T.I., "Living Better Now" featuring Rick Ross, "Fall for Your Type" featuring Drake and "Best Night of My Life" featuring Wiz Khalifa.
Upon its release, Best Night of My Life was met with generally mixed reviews from music critics. The album debuted at number six on the US Billboard 200 chart, selling 144,000 copies in its first week. [5]
The album was originally scheduled to be released under the title Body.
On November 16, 2009, the song titled "Speak French" featuring Gucci Mane, was released as the buzz single. [6]

Best Night of My Life was met with generally mixed reviews from music critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, the album received an average score of 58, which indicates "mixed or average reviews", based on 9 reviews. In a mixed review, David Jeffries of Allmusic wrote that, "If Best Night of My Life is just part of the bigger Foxx picture, rather than an item from his sideline career, it’s still an above-average celebrity album".

Eric Marlon Bishop, known professionally as Jamie Foxx, is an American actor and singer. He gained his career breakthrough as a featured player in the sketch comedy show In Living Color from 1991 to 1994. Following this success, he was given his own sitcom The Jamie Foxx Show, in which he starred, co-created and produced from 1996 to 2001.
Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., known professionally as T.I. or Tip, is an American rapper. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, Harris is credited as one the pioneers of the hip hop subgenre trap music, along with fellow Georgia-based rappers Jeezy and Gucci Mane. He first became acquainted with local music executive Kawan "KP" Prather, and joined his company Ghet-O-Vision Entertainment by the late 1990s. He was led to sign a major-label record deal with its parent company LaFace Records, an imprint of Arista Records in 1999. His debut studio album, I'm Serious (2001), was met with lukewarm critical and commercial reception, becoming his only release with the label. He then signed with Atlantic Records, where he soon reached his mainstream breakthrough and co-founded his own label imprint, Grand Hustle Records by 2003.
