Beth Sanner is a former American government official,having served as the deputy director of National Intelligence for Mission Integration. [1] She was appointed to the position in May 2019. [2]
Sanner is a Distinguished Graduate of the National War College,earning a Master of Science in National Security Strategy. She has a B.A. in Economics and International Affairs from the American University. [3]
Sanner held several senior leadership positions in CIA's Directorate of Analysis,including leading the analytic effort on South Asia and serving as the deputy for analysis for Russian and European affairs. She also held analytic leadership roles for the Balkans,Central Europe,and Southeast Asia. Sanner was the Director of the Career Analyst Program,the training program for all new CIA analysts. [3]
Sanner assumed leadership for the President's Daily Brief in April 2017. Previously she served as the Vice Chair of the National Intelligence Council. [3] [4]
Sanner has also served in a wide range of leadership,staff,policy,and analytic positions in the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, [5] the Central Intelligence Agency, [6] the National Security Council,and the U.S. Department of State. [3]

John Dimitri Negroponte is an American diplomat. In 2018,he was a James R. Schlesinger Distinguished Professor at the Miller Center for Public Affairs at the University of Virginia. He is a former J.B. and Maurice C. Shapiro Professor of International Affairs at the George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs. Prior to this appointment,he served as a research fellow and lecturer in international affairs at Yale University's Jackson Institute for Global Affairs,United States Deputy Secretary of State (2007–2009),and the first ever Director of National Intelligence (2005–2007).
The director of national intelligence (DNI) is a senior cabinet-level United States government official,required by the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 to serve as executive head of the United States Intelligence Community (IC) and to direct and oversee the National Intelligence Program (NIP). All IC agencies report directly to the DNI. The DNI also serves,upon invitation,as an advisor to the president of the United States,the National Security Council,and the Homeland Security Council on all intelligence matters. Judith A. "Jami" Miscik is an American intelligence analyst who was also the Central Intelligence Agency's Deputy Director for Intelligence,the Agency's most senior analytic post. In 2005 she left CIA to become Global Head of Sovereign Risk for the now-bankrupt financial services firm Lehman Brothers. Miscik is former President and Vice-Chairman of Kissinger Associates,Inc. in New York and currently CEO of Global Strategic Insights,a private consulting firm. In 2009 she was appointed to President Obama's Intelligence Advisory Board.
The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), a United States intelligence agency that "provides objective intelligence on foreign countries",also informally referred to as the Agency. The CIA is part of the United States Intelligence Community,is organized into numerus divisions. The divisions include directors,deputy directors,and offices. The CIA board is made up of five distinct entitles called Directorates. The CIA is overseen by the Director of Central Intelligence. Robert Cardillo is a Distinguished Fellow at Georgetown University’s Center for Security and Emerging Technology. Prior to this appointment,he was the sixth Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and was sworn in October 3,2014. He was previously selected by Director of National Intelligence James Clapper to serve as the first Deputy Director of National Intelligence for Intelligence Integration in September 2010. Clapper said in a statement that the position would "elevate information sharing and collaboration" between those who collect intelligence and those who analyze it. Cardillo previously served as deputy director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA). Prior to that,he served as the deputy director for Analysis,DIA,and Director,Analysis and Production,National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA).
The Boren-McCurdy intelligence reform proposals were two legislative proposals from Senator David Boren and Representative Dave McCurdy in 1992. Both pieces of legislation proposed the creation of a National Intelligence Director. Neither bill passed into law.
Susan M. Gordon served as Principal Deputy Director of National Intelligence until August 15,2019. Prior to assuming that role,she was the Deputy Director of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA),having assumed the position on January 1,2015. Before joining the NGA,she served as director of the Central Intelligence Agency's Information Operations Center and senior cyber adviser to the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency. Gordon worked for the CIA for over 25 years.
John Bradley Sherman is an American intelligence official who has served as the Chief Information Officer at the Department of Defense since December 17,2021. Prior to that,he served from June 2020 to January 2021 as the Principal Deputy DOD Chief Information Officer. Between 2017 and 2020 he served as Associate Director and Chief Information Officer of the Intelligence Community (IC) at the Office of the Director of National Intelligence.
