Bhimrad [1] is a suburban area located in South West Zone [2] of Surat. Bhimrad is the newest area to develop in terms of public transport infrastructure, residential complexes, business parks, and shopping arcades. Bhimrad is where the historic Salt March of Dandi was led by Gandhi. [3]
It is nearby Sarsana and Khajod. It is 1 km (0.62 mi) away from the Surat Diamond Bourse and Dream City Khajod. Bhimrad Is 12 km (7.5 mi) from Surat Railway station and 10 km (6.2 mi) from Surat Airport. The proposed Surat Metro will pass from Bhimrad.

Pune Metro is a mass rapid transit system serving the city of Pune, India. The system comprises 3 lines with a combined length of 54.14 km (33.64 mi), of which 21.75 km (13.51 mi) on two lines are operational as of August 2023. The 16.59 km (10.31 mi) Purple Line from PCMC Bhavan to Swargate runs on an elevated viaduct between PCMC Bhavan to Range Hills, from where it goes underground. The Aqua Line runs from Vanaz to Ramwadi covering a distance of 14.66 km (9.11 mi) on an elevated viaduct. The 23.33 km (14.50 mi) elevated Line 3 will run from the Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park in Hinjawadi via Balewadi to Civil Court. All three lines will align at the Civil Court interchange station.

Nagpur Metro is a rapid transit system for the city of Nagpur, Maharashtra, India. The Surat Metro is an under-construction rapid transit rail system for Surat in the Surat Metropolitan Region, Gujarat state of India. Two corridors with a combined length of 40.35 kilometers are under construction since 18 January 2021. The project is expected to be completed by December 2027 at an estimated cost of ₹12,020.32 crore (US$1.5 billion).
Koyambedu Wholesale Market Complex (KWMC) is one of Asia's largest perishable goods market complex located at Koyambedu, Chennai. The market complex is spread over an area of 295 acres (1.19 km2). Inaugurated in 1996, the complex consists of about 3,100 shops, including more than 1,000 wholesale shops and 2,000 retail shops. Of these, 850 are fruit shops. It abuts the Poonamallee High Road and Nesapakkam Road and can be easily accessed from all parts of City. In Phase I, a wholesale market for perishables was developed in an area of around 70 acres (280,000 m2) by constructing 3,194 shops. The market has two blocks for vegetable shops and one each for fruit and flower shops. In Phase II, a textile market and in Phase III, a food grain market have been planned to be developed in the complex.

Red Line 9 (extension) of the Mumbai Metro is part of the metro system for the city of Mumbai, India. Metro Line 9 is an extension of the Red Line from Andheri to CSMIA and Dahisar to Mira Road. This line will be unique from the other metro lines because it will run on a double-decker bridge. There will be a flyover on the first deck and the metro will run on the second deck. The flyover will start near the proposed Shivaji Chowk metro station and will end in Bhayander (West) via Mira Bhayander Road. It shall provide interconnectivity among the Western Express Highway, the Western Line, and the Mumbai Metro.
